Submitting to Spiritual Authority unto Everlasting Life (WTV)

There is a need for detailed division of the word from its foundation. If the word is wrongly divided, it will not be a blessing. The teaching of God's word at the levels of Faith, Hope, Charity, Everlasting Life and Eternal Life will make us profit fully.

The Lord has blessed His servant (Rev. Kayode Oyegoke) with authority to divide the word. He is also releasing great energy to help him deliver the word with accuracy. We should therefore fear and revere the authority of God over His servant. Many people may have some contradictions or be unsettled in their minds, about his manner of ministering and breaking down the word, in comparison with other ministers of God. This may be more common among those who have not been exposed to this word for a long time. However, it is good to know that it is not everywhere that the true light, which accurately divides God's word is being shone. Without this light, the word will not be understood.

This kind of seed that is being declared is a heavenly vision. As such, earthly words cannot paint it. Paul told Agrippa that he was not disobedient to the heavenly vision (Acts 26:19). This present word is not the vision of the present, neither is it the vision of angels. Paul's ordination was also not of the present. He saw the first operation (appearance) of Jesus, after which Jesus told him that He would appear to him again (Acts 26:16). That second appearance is what makes up the content of the present word, which the Lord is commanding over us. Many can see the demonstrations of the present (like visions and miracles), but they miss the heavenly vision.

"Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee," (Acts 26:17). The heavenly vision brings deliverance from the nature of men and gentiles because such natures are of satan. The essence of the vision is to open the eyes of men because all men are blind. Many can even be in the church but are still blind. The content of the heavenly vision is the doctrine of Christ, which the epistles hold.

The yardstick to judge if a vision is heavenly is in its ability to deliver a man from blindness. This proof is not found in the spectacular. Many are anointed in various measures but lack the authority of the word. The Lord authorises those with the heavenly vision, therefore, it cannot be borne coincidentally. It is a deliberate blessing of God over a man. He picks and prepares those whom He assigns to carry and preach this vision. An example of such men is Rev. Kenneth E. Hagin. While on earth, many could preach the word like him, but did not have that trust from heaven. The things we are hearing today as a result of the authority of God upon these words.

The things we are hearing are being spelt out by the Author of our faith - our Lord Jesus (Heb 12:2). The servant of God (Rev. Kayode Oyegoke) speaks under the authority of this Author. The Pharisees questioned the authority by which Jesus taught. He taught by reason of the authority of God over Him, but the Scribes and Teachers of the law did not have this (Mark 1:22). Any one who must teach this order of the word of righteousness must be graced with the authority of God.

There is a manner by which we should relate with this level of authority. At the same time, we must desire not to offend the servant of God. There are also heavenly beings, whom God sends to minister for this level of the Word. The word being preached to us over the years has been so consistent; they are not cunningly devised. Therefore, we must trust the things we are hearing (2 Pet. 1:16).

Authority opens scriptures because they are tied by divine authority. As such, they cannot be understood by a carnal man. It takes a spiritual mind to understand scriptures (everlasting thoughts). This understanding is a blessing, but it cannot be understood with the human sense. What makes man blind is another kind of authority.

Satan is an authority who also seals (Ezekiel 28:12). He is a negative author. When God created him, He put books in him but when he fell, he corrupted his books. Those books were initially the source of light to the seraphims, however, they have now become books that cast blindness upon the heart of man (Eze. 28:14, 2 Cor 4:4). This was why God anointed and authorized Paul to deliver men from the seal and perverted books of satan (Acts 26:18). We need to understand God, the Father, and Christ to overcome him. We must be a generation that seeks to strictly follow the teaching of God's word because it is only by it that we would be delivered from blindness.

One weakness of the flesh of man is his inability to submit under those whom the Lord has placed authority on. However, we must by grace get rid of this nature. We must come under this authority on the Servant of God (Rev. Kayode Oyegoke), which is for a generation. We must not be heady but be submissive, so that the wrong natures of the adversary would be completely dealt with in us. We should not submit under spiritual authority out of ambition or for carnal elevation. Rather, we must make up our minds to submit wholeheartedly and not choose to be free from them. Like a bondservant, we must desire to be submitted forever under our Master (Christ). These wrong natures of the adversary are dealt with as we stay submitted to the word of God. We must find grace to drop our wrong ambitions, so that God can purify us and we can then see Everlasting Life.
