The Lord has begun to teach us on the subject of the Testament, which includes the Testament of Christ and the Testament of the Father. He is opening the realm of the Father upon us. As such, there has been a lot of emphasis on the subject of Everlasting Life.
Many believers cannot access some deep words in the Scripture, like Everlasting Life, because of the measure of their spiritual growth. These subjects ought to be understood, but it will take spiritual growth to be able to access and understand them. Many believers in the body of Christ do not have the discernment to divide the Word of Truth as the mysteries of Christ, the mysteries of the Father and the mysteries of God.
Some believers have also equated the reward of Everlasting Life to just going to heaven or living well on earth and the likes. This judgment is also due to lack of spiritual growth. Such people do not see the need to learn the doctrine of Christ, the Father and God; so, they ignorantly look for the profit of learning the natural. It will take grace and help for men to learn and submit to these doctrines. The learning of Everlasting Life has a greater import than living forever because it is beyond living well in the natural. We have to learn why God has ordained Everlasting Life for every man.
Romans 16:25-27
“Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, [26] But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith: [27] To God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen.”
There is the commandment of faith, but there is also the commandment of Everlasting Life. The Lord addressed the above scripture to believers who have used both Milk and the Faith of the Son. The epistles made them precious in their souls and not just in their spirits, because they obtained something through the righteousness of God (2 Pet. 2:1). They did not obtain ephemeral things. He therefore charged them to be committed and be diligent about their calling; so that they can be free from sin (2 Pet. 1:10).
There is a faith kingdom and an everlasting kingdom that have to be ministered to us. The essence of the teaching of the realm of the Father is to expound the commandment in this realm to the church. These commandments have been laid down in the scripture for the church to inherit. However, we can only access them through teaching. Many believers live below the standard of these commandments. It is also good to know that these commandments are not generated by a man but are commandments that last forever.
There are three classifications of life - there is Life, Everlasting Life, and Eternal Life. This classification is not according to human wisdom but according to the wisdom of Scripture. Before we get to ‘abundant life’ (Eternal Life), we must have 'much life' (Everlasting Life). These classifications of life are God ordained.
Christ (which is the level of Life) is spiritual. God is one but there are also many things in Him that we need to know, to help qualify us to partake of the life that He really is. We need to know Christ and Everlasting Life before we can know Eternal Life, which is the very life of God. The soul should journey from learning Life (which is spiritual) to learning Everlasting Life (which is divine).
The problem of the human race is beyond everlasting time. This is because the being who is our problem is an everlasting being and a rewarded entity. As such, we need a lot of help to break free from this being. The problem of man is a tree from the beginning, even till now. We therefore need to come to salvation by taking heed to hear, walk, do and obey Everlasting life to be free from this problem. It will take obedience to the commandments of Everlasting Life to be free.
This world will remain until a generation of men obey Everlasting Life. We must journey through the tabernacle - the Outer Courts (which separate us), the Holy Place (which sanctifies us), and the Holiest of All (which saves us completely). God wants to raise a generation that will defy satan; not by religious, external activities but by obedience to the laws of Everlasting Life. The Lord is therefore feeding us because He wants us to break him.
Tongues and Interpretation
“There is a season upon this generation, as a company of people and brethren under Me. It is a season for the feeding of things Everlasting, for I need to feed for the times to come. There are times to come and they are fast approaching. I must feed My own, that they may be fed and would hold on to Faith, Hope and Love. Pay attention to My feeding and pay attention to growth. I am feeding you with food to overcome his (satan's) wiles and tactics; that you may stand as an overcomer, even with reward.”
