What the Lord does is that He gives a grace and expects one to be faithful with it. However, as a result of our carnality, we find it difficult to wait on the Lord but rather, we want to rush into some things. When we do that, we will miss the season of the Lord’s increase. We need to be counted worthy or be counted as a faithful steward of the grace of God in our lives. When one is faithful with the grace stream given by the Lord, such a person will be promoted.
We cannot enter into the things of God without the guidance of the Spirit or else we will tangent away from what the Lord is saying. One striking thing that the servant of the Lord mentioned recently is the essence of mysteries.
A minister of God might not teach on some certain scriptures not because he does not know them, but because it might not have been given to him to speak. Paul talked about things that are unlawful for a man to utter (2 Cor. 12:4). This means that a minister needs permission to teach certain things, otherwise he will get into trouble in the spirit.
The word “mystery” according to the dictionary means secret. There are many secrets locked up in scripture which are difficult to access. It is possible to have read through the entire Bible or be able to quote scriptures, and never see the secrets locked up in scriptures. Whosoever will see the secrets in scripture must be one to whom it is given to know (Matt. 13:11).
Another word for mysteries is blessings and they are meant to be known by man. If we do not see mysteries as blessings, we will not desire to understand them. It is not man’s mental prowess that opens up the secrets of scriptures, but the permission of the Lord. The essence of mystery is to stretch our minds or thought capacity beyond that of a natural man.
“The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts” (Ps. 10:4). Thoughts are powerful and whatever we give our thoughts to will bring forth fruits. This is why we should fight wrong thoughts.
Thoughts are very potent in the realm of the spirit. “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.” (Isa. 55:8). One cannot find ways, both righteous and unrighteous without thoughts. The thoughts of the Lord and the thoughts of God are all mysteries and they are blessings (Col. 2:2). When the Lord wants to truly bless a man, He gives him His thoughts and not natural things.
A man who has gathered thoughts is a man who has gathered spoils. One who does not have the thoughts of God is poor and wretched. What matters in the spirit is the thoughts of God which a person has gathered.
The thoughts of God are higher than the heavens and as such are beyond the comprehension of angels. The inquiry regarding the origin and existence of God can only be found in the hearts of children. However, we lose that quest as we grow up in the natural as a result of our interactions with darkness; and so when God begins to bring His thoughts, we are unable to relate with it. That childlike quest is a blessing because the world does not want us to think about God at all.
The reason for our minds is not just to solve natural problems, but to be able to resolve the mysteries of God. God is an equation that can only take a spiritual mind to be thought. A man cannot break into the thoughts of God without the help of the spirit.
“For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.” (1 Cor. 2:16). We cannot be admitted into the world of the thoughts of God until we come into the mind of Christ. Anyone that can understand the thoughts of God is blessed. (Matt. 13:16).
Satan hates man because God made man the gate to the Tree of Life. Satan wants access to the Tree of Life but he cannot have it because God has not permitted him.
God blessed man with curiosity. The essence of this is to enable man to seek Him, however, we must be careful how we satisfy that curiosity as the enemy can use it against us.
“Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.” (Hos. 6:3). If we do not follow on to know, we will not access the realm of “then”. “Then” is the destination where we understand how God thinks.
The realm of God cannot easily be understood by man. Even the living creatures in heaven wait for the secrets of God to be revealed unto them. Although God is seated, a lot of things are happening around Him. A minister while describing a vision said, the angels around God respond spontaneously to His majesty crying “holy holy holy! is the Lord God Almighty”.
The heavens and earth will skip at the revelation of the face of God, whom we serve (Rev. 20:11). This is the One (blessing) that will be revealed to us.
God’s thoughts are thoughts of life; they are living thoughts. If the thoughts of man were to be projected on billboards, they would be despicable and this is because it is not easy to retain God in our thoughts (Rom. 1:28).
The thoughts of God are mysterious and are from another realm; they are living thoughts. The essence of God’s thought is to stretch the mind of man because man’s frame is limited as a result of sin and death. Man cannot even process the thoughts of angels without aid. The technological inventions we see on earth are a result of the thoughts of fallen angels and the purpose is so that men will remain earthbound.
There are some people who believe that Africa is under-developed because of its acceptance of the ideologies of God. What this means is that one who is spiritual is dull in the natural. However, dullness in the spirit is caused by the idols. This dullness makes a man lose essence in the realm of the spirit. A man who has not come into the thoughts of God is unlearned in the spirit in a measure. God preserved Africa from foreign civilisation to ensure that she comes into the thoughts that He has purposed for her.
Thoughts are what becomes the tongue of God. You cannot access the thoughts of God without the tongue of God. When waters are being emptied into a vessel, they talk. Scriptures talked about the voice of Jesus as the sound of many waters (Rev. 1:15).
John 4:14
“But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life" (John 4:14). The water in the scripture above speaks of thoughts, not the Holyghost. The water is life. The thoughts of GOD are life: the words that God speaks to us are spirit and life (John 6:63), but they come as thoughts. They are utterance (waterance). This water will begin to spring unto everlasting life. This means that when it has been dug in you, it will fount you into everlasting life.
We were led into the realm of everlasting life through tongues. Whosoever argues about the baptism of the Holyghost is denying his or her blessing.
“In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink" (John 7:37). We are in that great day according to God’s calendar in the spirit. This is the feast of tabernacles according to the Jewish calendar. It begins with blowing of trumpet; the last trumpet has to do with the resurrection of our body. These trumpets are thoughts that God will give to us and it will come by tongues.
The way of the spirit is such that it will make a natural man dull. It will come in a foolish way, so that men can despise it and whosoever despises it will miss the blessing. It is the great day of the feast and it is the feast of the tabernacle. The tabernacle speaks of the body. Our body is our tabernacle; scripture calls it the house of this earthly tabernacle.
All of these things are in thoughts and cannot be accessed by determination to read or study your Bible, they can only be given in tongues. Tongue is a sign.
When God raises a tongue, it is meant to bring forth mysteries. This is what has aided us into everlasting life and will further make us break into things that border on the quickening of our bodies. By thoughts, God will inject His things into our bodies. Abraham became youthful by thoughts; thoughts can rewind our age.
The way the thoughts of God come might look foolish so that the prudents and intelligentsia can despise it. May we not err in this season. One will become a sinner if he does not know the scriptures and the power of God. Hearing is a fountain - things that will be spoken that will be of blessing to us.
