The Heart Preparation for the Incorruptible Seed (WTVPM)

God has been leading us as a people to understand the realm where we presently are in the spirit. It is a realm where we must not yield to distractions. We must receive strength to stay through in this season and give attendance to receiving the word.

The incorruptible word has to be spoken, else this generation is without help. Every generation has a level of decadence and corruption upon it, hence, the Lord dispenses a measure of His word to counter and combat it. Satan measures out corruption to the level a believer has journeyed to, even to those entering into the Most Holy.

Satan fights us at every level or stage we get to in the spirit. He fights our entrance, which is, being able to yield to the Spirit of the Lord for the Word to be spoken. The only hope we have is for God to continually speak. If God does not speak then we are without help because man must live by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God (Matt. 4:4). For man to keep living, he must continually hear the word of God. Jesus had the word and so He was able to wrestle and overcome the adversary.

The word of God we are hearing in this season is the incorruptible seed which liveth and abideth forever (1Pet. 1:23). The Word proceeding out of the mouth of God is continuous, that we may be able to live and abide. Thus, we cannot afford to let the flow of speaking stop.

The emphasis of the Spirit of the Lord to us recently has been the issue of the incorruptible seed, which is, the word of God. The word is received/understood according to the level of understanding we possess. For example, many can take the “word of the Lord” and the “word of God” to mean the same thing, not being able to rightly divide the Word correctly.  The Bible does not make mistake to qualify a word as of the use of “Lord” and  of “God”.

The word of God is not fashioned after semantics. The word of God is spirit. It is living; it is the Word that God uses. In the book of Ephesians, the word is called the sword of the Spirit (Eph. 6:17). Not every level of word is particularly the sword of the Spirit. In a sense, it can be, but in actuality, the Word of God is the sword.

The word of Christ dwelling in a man is the spirit of the word dwelling in him. The word of Christ is the spirit of Christ, likewise the word of God is the Spirit of God. Not spirit as in personality as the Holy Ghost is; the Holy Ghost who is the eternal Spirit is a personality in the Godhead.

The eternal Word, the eternal Father and the eternal Spirit have the Word of God. The word of God is their spirit, that is their inward operational pattern. Everything created was created according to a particular pattern (Rom. 1:20). Lucifer has something within him, it is his spirit; his spirit has its law. God can not do anything outside the laws He has instituted. Any creation that goes outside its law transgresses because it takes layers of word to make a complete formation of the law within them. There is a word that God uses that creation, including the angels can not use. The Word of God is the sword of the spirit.

Ephesians 6:10

”Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.”

In Ephesians 6:10, the word ‘finally’ introduced the teaching of All Things God. Paul had been building this letter from chapter one. In chapter 5, Paul began to give by the Spirit, instructions concerning the husband and wife, which is aimed at perfecting man to become Christ. There is a whole lot about marriage that we do not know yet. There is something about marriage and the incorruptible seed. God uses marriage to prepare the heart for the incorruptible. There is a kind of heart that can carry the incorruptible seed; we need that kind of heart because the time of the incorruptible seed is a time of warfare.

The warfare is because the adversary does not want us to carry the seed to full term. Many cast their young before the time. They fought the warfare and did receive the seed. Yet, there is another level of warfare after having received the seed, which satan stirs against them to prevent them from carrying it to full term.

Doing Christ well builds might to receive the incorruptible seed. The warfare at the level of Christ is to prevent us from receiving the incorruptible seed. Satan fights against many from becoming Christ. Every Christ would be measured in their relationship with their spouse (for those that marry), because there are levels in Christ.

The height of a man’s revelation would be tested and proven in marriage. His meekness, humility, patience, endurance would be tested. It is possible to perfect and finish the curriculum of Christ in marriage.

Marriages have to depend on the instructions of the Holy Ghost to be perfect. The intention of the Lord for the male-man and female-woman is to become Christ and there are instructions tied to it. It would be like Eden when this is achieved; anyone who perfects Christ in marriage has come to the things of God. The instructions concerning marriage in Ephesians 5 is the transition to chapter 6.

The instructions would enable the man to put on the whole armor of God because it is only Christ that can see, discern and put on the whole armor of God (Eph. 6:10-11).

To be strong in the Lord is to be built up in Christ, having the full might of Christ. This is the stature that can receive the armor of God. When David was to face Goliath, he tried to put on Saul’s armor, but he did not have the stature to do so. He needed height and muscles to wear it but he did not have them enough and so could not wear it (1 Sam. 17:38).

Saul’s armor is physical but God’s armor is worn by the heart. There is a kind of heart that can wear the armor of God. It is a thing of the heart, that is why God checks the heart, that is where He wants to live in. It would take the manifestation of the Lord to prepare the soul of man for this stage. The abode of Christ and God is in the heart (John 14:23).

One good thing to learn about David is that David is a man of the heart. Psalm 119 is a psalm of consecration to the Word of the Lord. David consecrated and was always consecrating his heart to the Lord. We should take out time to study Psalm 119.

The kind of man in Psalm 119 is one that seeks to purify his soul and heart. It is very important that we seek God with the whole heart (Psalm 119:2). Seeking God with the whole heart is not something any man can do by himself because it is the same heart scriptures says is wicked and deceitful; the heart needs to be worked upon (Jer. 17:9).

We can not keep the testimony with our whole heart on our own accord, without having been worked on by Christ. It is only Christ that is wholeheartedly given to God.

There are portions of our heart that are still not given to Christ yet. It is not enough to declare with the mouth how much you love the Lord, it takes an inner working to collect portions of the heart.

For Christ to win some portions of our heart, we give Him serious warfare - we wrestle. The warfare is because of a whole lot of things we still want to keep which can seem spiritual; it can be ministry. Our love for these things is what is withholding us from Christ. Christ is always asking for our heart but we keep withholding it. We cannot say of ourselves that we can give all our heart but we can ask for strength and yield to the instructions He gives. The instructions of the Lord is to rid us of our darkness that we love.

Psalm 119:25

”My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word.”

When a man cleaves to something, he is married to it. Our souls cleave to the dust- vanity - which is not allowing the whole heart to be given to the Lord. The instructions of the Lord is to begin to prepare the heart. Anyone who has not learnt Christ cannot give up his heart fully to the Lord. Christ teaches us how to give up, till we get to the place where we become an offering to God. Christ became an offering to God; a sweet smelling savour (Eph. 5:2). There was nothing He withheld. This is the kind of heart we must possess to come to the table of the incorruptible seed.

The incorruptible seed will not fall on a heart that is not Christ. It would not make sense to anyone who is not Christ- there would be no sight to it. What appreciates and keeps the incorruptible seed is Christ.

Psalm 119 was about the preparation of the heart towards the testimony, commandments and precepts of the Lord. David was a man after God’s heart because of his heart dedication. Yielding to the consecration of the Lord would make us men after God’s own heart.

Psalm 89:1-4

”I will sing of the mercies of the Lord for ever:  with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations. [2] For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever:  thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very heavens. [3] I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant, [4] Thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations. Selah.”

Mercy is an everlasting covenant. God will not come to make this kind of convenant with a heart that is not wholly dedicated to Him. There are promises God made to David, it is an everlasting covenant, it is a covenant of Mercy. God won’t make covenant with a heart that is not Christ. Covenant is made with the heart by His word and His commandments.

When we keep the commandments of the Lord, we show that we can keep God’s commandments, because God’s commandments are higher.

John 12:50

”And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.”

The commandments of God are Life Everlasting. The commandment for Jesus here, which is everlasting, was to go to the cross and loose His life but to a carnal man, how to last is to preserve your life. The way to last for a carnal man is different from the way Christ lasts (Matt.16:25). The carnal man saves to gain; God teaches us to loose for us to gain.

Luke 6:30

”Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.”

The instructions of Christ does something to the heart; it prepares the heart for the incorruptible seed. The commandments of the Lord tempers the heart to be merciful.

Matthew 5:42

”Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.”

God uses brethren to open and temper our heart to be tender, the reward is not that we would receive carnal substances in hundredfold but rather, we would receive a kind of heart that can receive the incorruptible seed. If our heart is opened to the brethren, our heart will be opened to the Lord. When the incorruptible seed is given, we ought to carry it to full term because any heart that carries the seed to the finish would receive the reward. It is possible for some to carry the incorruptible seed and abort it, so we must be careful.

John wrote of some men who turned away in the scriptures. They could not continue because their heart was not whole hearted (1 John 2:19). We must trust God for our hearts to be made whole. Many hearts are not whole yet. Where we would arrive if we continue to the end will be a state where we’ll love the Lord God with all our heart.

The Lord sends brethren to check the proof of our declaration of loving the Lord with all our heart. The Lord teaches us not to have respect of persons. (Rom. 2:11). We must not despise those, in our words, seem beggarly. We must yield to the instructions of the Lord concerning the situation.

We must be rid of the attitude of ignoring people who come our way; we must not be weary of those who we feel want something from us. We must respect every man. When brethren or saints who seems uncomely to us in our judgement comes to us and we sometimes despise and ignore them, that shows that kind of heart is not yet ready for the incorruptible seed.

We are expected to put on the whole armor of God and a heart that is sick cannot wear it; only a heart that is whole can. The purpose of the armor is not to hide our infirmities; it is the armor of life, of love. Anyone who is not whole cannot recognize the armor.

Ephesians 6:13-18

”Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.  Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;  And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;  Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:  Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints”

All the properties of the armor are all of God. The armor is to quench the fiery darts of the enemy; without the armor, we cannot annul the darts of satan. There is a kind of faith to annul satan and it is the faith of the operation of God, the Most Holy faith. A heart that would put it on is one that has become Christ.

Our prayer must be to be whole hearted, we must be totally worked on and fully dedicated to God. Anyone who has not done Christ would not be dedicated to God. Anyone who does not do marriage well will not carry the incorruptible seed. There is an allocation for those who it is the design of the Lord for them not to marry.

The afflictions of Paul as an unmarried man is greater than being married. We must seek to do whatever is allocated to us well, till our heart would totally surrender to Him.
