The Heart’s Attitude to Receiving the Inheritance and Reward (RH)

The Lord has blessed us with the quality of leadership arranged for us in Eternal Glorious Fountain Ministry, that we might be able to come into the inheritance He has prepared for us. Do not be discouraged. Every single person who has been called to this path has an inheritance that no one can gainsay.

The Lord, before the foundations of the earth, has put together a program on earth. This shows us that everything that needs to be done has been done. Everything that the Lord has put together is self-generating. For instance, there was only one spot that Jesus was going to be crucified at; no other place would have sufficed and everything worked towards it. Everyone had gathered together to do a work that would enable Christ to be born in Bethlehem and crucified at Golgotha (Matt. 27:33-35). All that Christ did on the face of the earth was put together prophetically.

The same is true of us. If our Forerunner followed that path, we also should follow suit. All we need to do is to follow the leading of the Spirit and we would align with all the agenda of God. All the natural things we are allowed to have are calculated to help us attain what He (God) wants to do in our lives.

The Bible says in Genesis 2:4-9 KJV: “These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens, [5] And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground. [6] But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground. [7] And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. [8] And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. [9] And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil”.

The Lord caused everything to grow because Satan's tree was not a threat to Him. One thing we can be sure of is that growth and multiplication is only in the hands of God. God did not plant the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, but the tempter did. The Lord does not tempt, but He allows the thorns and tares grow together. The principle of growth in God will take place alongside the course of the seed of good and evil in men. This notwithstanding, God has already put a plan in place to make sure His own will is done no matter the evil that the adversary plans.

If you cannot appreciate the one who God has instituted as your father to teach you and raise you for the inheritance, you cannot attain the path God has ordained. Everything concerning us, including those who will lead us, has been arranged by grace and when we understand this, we should be able to align with this awesome provision.

In Hebrews 2:7-8KJV, the Bible says, “Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands: [8] Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him”.

God did not put the world to come under the subjection of the angels. The genesis of the promise is that the world to come is intended to be put in man’s subjection. There is a process of growth involved in this, which is why man must be raised. We should fight the good fight of faith and lay hold on eternal life. There are promises God has made and we must understand that He is set to make them come to pass.

We must be able to identify whosoever God has set in place to lead and to bring us to himself. The whole purpose of our journey is to lead us to God. No one will walk along this pathway unless he can identify the one who will lead him to what God has identified for him.

The Bible says in Heb. 1:1 (KJV), “God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets”. This implies that God will only speak to fathers. The height from which the word of God is coming now is so high that only fathers can hear it. Inheritance is only made possible by the speakings of fathers.

The Lord was not happy with the Hebrew church because they wanted to go back to milk. A father must be such that can teach and raise. Fathers must beget, nourish and nurture, give inheritance and blessing to those under them. This is why Satan always tries to destroy this relationship.

The intent of Satan is to ensure that things do not get transferred from one generation to another. Whatever will disconnect a generation from another, to the end that the word of God is not fully transferred from one generation to another is of the devil.

Peter said in 1 Pet 5:1, “The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:".

We must ensure going forward as we understand this, we are required to chase our inheritance. If God allowed the tree of the knowledge of good and evil to be planted and caused it to grow, there must have been something in it because all things work together for good to them that love Him. He allowed it for us. The things we are learning here in a short period can take a longer time for us to learn in eternity.

The enemy is actually working out for our good and he was raised for the purpose of showing us the most obedient way. Whatever we are doing that is against what God wants us to do is against God's plans.

Peter said in 1 Pet 5:2-4, “Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;  Neither as being Lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.  And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away."

All that Satan is after is to make sure that things are truncated. He fights establishments because he knows that every covenant becomes permanent after the third generation. The patriarchs(sons of Jacob) were another generation. So he (the enemy) seeks to abort transgenerational blessings.

1 Pet 5:5-6: “Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.  Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:"

The enemy cannot stand against us when we are weak. A weak man can take a city without any fight because Satan has no remedy against weakness. People have acquired stature because they have done things in humility. Humility is also the reason we are having these kind of breakthroughs amidst us.

We must have such trust in God that nothing shall by any means hurt us. Sometimes, there is some lack of trust in our hearts concerning what God has promised to do. Things that should be nothing become a problem to us, because we do not have an attitude that God will take care of everything that He promised us.

All these things have been ordained by God. He has made arrangements for us to come into eternal life.

Looking at Matthew 5:45-48 (KJV), which says: “That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. [46] For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? [47] And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others ? do not even the publicans so? [48] Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect”. It is clear that there is a way of thinking that we must embrace/come into by growth, which is very different from how we think now. The things that we normally do, do not serve us any advantage.

If we do not come to doing things and thinking the way God does, we will not come into our inheritance speedily.

We ought not to think more highly of ourselves than we ought to. The reality of the kingdom we are seeking is to be able to agree with God that those whom we have considered less privilege are on the same level with us or even higher (Rom 12:3). Jesus said, “But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you” (Matthew 5:44).

It would have been difficult to believe those who teach us the Word, if not for the manner of their lives. Their attitude and manner to little things, like honoring those who serve them counts very much.

1 Peter 5:2 KJV

“Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind”;

Money is the root of all evil and we thank God that we have not been given such people who would use the grace of God for their greed.

The things of God are supposed to be given to His Church freely. His things are what God wants to have in us.

Every time we think of "making it" on this path, our prayer must be that many others will also come into it. The effort our parents are putting into these words is so that we will all come into embodying these things.

People will be drawn to these meek people, because they can draw people to God. What we should be learning from those who are teaching us at these times, we should seek to want to be like them in the manner of doctrine they teach us.

Prophecies can make us puffed up. There is nothing wrong in God telling us about tomorrow, but there is everything wrong in trying to make it happen by ourselves.

We need to reverence those that are teaching us. We must not become familiar with them and we must always honor them.

We should fear our raising. The more we are raised, the less excuses will be allowed. Teachers have a higher judgement because so much is expected from them.

Everything that we had been thinking about, we must look at them in a completely new light. We should enquire of the Lord how to practice these things we have heard. The Lord has already given all these things, but we should also know how to receive.

When the word of God becomes our life and nothing moves us, we are completely at rest. It is not just about celebrating the ideas, we have to walk the talk.

In Mal 4:6, it is written, “And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse”.

God is forever blessed. However, when His plan and purpose is not achieved in us, He will not be happy with us. May this not be our lot!
