The Making of Spirit (BECON PM)

Eternal Glorious Fountain Ministry (EGFM)

Programme: Believers Convention Prayer Meeting (BeconPM Week 2 Day 4)

Date: Friday, 1st July 2022

Minister: Reverend (Mrs.) Helen Oyegoke

The joy of becoming a spirit in the order of Jesus should fill our hearts (1 Corin. 15:45). We must rejoice that the substances that would be used for making us spirits are coming down. It is a glorious time because glorious things await us. Jesus has come to take us up, higher than the realms of the cherubims of this present heaven.

The conversations of the cherubs are high and it shows that they are spirits (Psa. 104:4). They are beautiful in their operations; God made them so. Lucifer was made beautiful as well. Men have fallen short of the definition of true beauty, but God wants to make us more beautiful than the angels.

“Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.” (Ezekiel‬ 28:12).‬ Beauty here does not refer to an outward frame but an inward configuration. Angels did not grow into their beauty. They were made beautiful from the beginning. However, God did not promise the angels that He would be their Father because the substances for that program were not given to them (Heb. 1:5). This order of Fatherhood is the one that God has with Jesus, and that is what He has promised us (Eph. 1:3).

“And again, when he bringeth in the first begotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits...” (Heb. 1:6-7). All the classes of angels are spirits. However, this class of spirits are the ones referred to are cherubims. They are high spirits configured by laws that differentiated them from other classes of angels. Different laws and substances were used to frame them. They are spirits, but not in the order of our Lord Jesus. Jesus is a super-Spirit. He is a quickening Spirit because of the substances that were used to make Him (1 Cor. 15:45)

Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.” (Heb. 1:9). The oil of gladness is reserved for the fellows of Jesus – people who will come to hear what has been said from the beginning. It is reserved for those who would see it, look upon it and handle it (1 Jn 1:1-2).

“But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?” (Heb. 1:13-14). We have the promise of sitting down with God at His right hand and this promise was not given to angels (Rev. 3:21). Also, the ministering spirits were raised to serve those who shall be heirs of salvation and they carry out their duty with faithfulness and humility. These are the same spirits that men will judge. It is beautiful to know that they are not jealous of man nor are they thinking of themselves.

Satan was once a beautiful angel that God could give things to. The things that Michael brought are not to take us up to his realm but to a realm higher than him. They are the things that made Jesus so much better than the angels. Michael is administering things that will make us better than him and he is not complaining about it.

Angels are obedient servants; they are not crooked nor cunny. A crooked mind is one that is jealous of the other. The righteousness of the angels is the righteousness of the present of heaven because they are beings of the present heaven. These things that were brought to us were also administered to Jesus by the Father in the days of His flesh. At the end of the administration, our Lord Jesus became holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners and higher than the heavens (Heb.7:26)

God is desirous and ambitious to bring man to this place of beauty. God wants to make men beautiful. God wants to make men spirits. “Thou art fairer than the children of men: Grace is poured into thy lips: Therefore God hath blessed thee for ever.” (Psalm‬ 45:2).‬ These blessings made Jesus very beautiful–fairer than the children of men. To be made a spirit is a thing of joy. Spirits are configured by laws. They are weaved by laws and that is why they can serve the things of God faithfully. They serve willingly, rejoicing at the agenda of the Creator. The only thing that moves and inspires them is the voice of God's word (Psalm 103:20-21).

To esteem another better than oneself or to selflessly serve the cause of another is a virtue rarely found in the realm of men. This is because men have fallen in their souls. However, this selfless nature is the nature of angels and God wants to make us better than they are. This is profit! It is possible to become what God intended for man. This quest surpasses any other thing we may achieve on earth. Jesus endured the cross because of the joy that was set before Him, which is the joy of becoming a quickening spirit (Heb. 12:2). When we catch a glimpse of the intent of God for us, we would be more enthusiastic about the promise. We must not joke with this season.

The ministration of everlasting life is a communication of beauty to man. The laws of everlasting life are to make us better than angels. Everlasting life is not the life of this present heavens. It is the life of the world to come. It is the life of the Son of God who has been made so much better than the angels and higher than the heavens. When everlasting life is communicated to us and we agree with it, beauties are being communicated.

The learning of Christ is meant to take us to a place beyond Christ. Christ teaches us how to prefer one another (Romans 12:10). Those who are spirits or who have become spirits in their soul do not give attention to conversations of the flesh. The conversation of the flesh are designed to make men flesh. Jesus was able to ignore the reviling and abuses because He had been taught to ignore things that carnal people would respond to. The laws of Christ prepare us for everlasting laws. There are definite things that Christ's teachings must do to our souls that would make us ready for everlasting commandments.

The devil can deceive our hearts and not make us focus on the emphasis of the season. We must not despise the words coming to us. God is making men spirits by substances. God made the first man a living soul but He made the second man a quickening spirit by substances. If God could make the firstborn a quickening spirit, then He can make others as well. It is a matter of revelation of the laws that are meant to raise a man.

The conversations of these angels are surprising, and it looks almost impossible for man to be like them. However, these angels have been sent to take us up to a realm beyond theirs. Their selfless nature is anti-human; they just want to obey the voice of God. The things that will enable us to judge them have been committed to their hands to minister to us.

We are meant to inherit a better salvation than that of the angels. Jesus became the author of eternal salvation; this is a kind of salvation that angels do not have but we have been called to inherit it. Angels are saved to an extent, but they are not eternally saved because of the substances that made them. However, the substances of eternal salvation have been committed to these angels so as to minister them to us. As long as God has commanded such service, they obey it.

We must come to the place where we are desirous of what the Lord wants to say. We need to ask God to make us machines of obedience. We should desire to become vessels that will hearken only to the voice of His word, doing only what He says without questioning and rationalising them. The nature of questioning and rationalising the word of God makes our souls ugly; those natures are sponsored by our selfishness. We need to understand that we cannot outdo God in faithfulness and every obedience to the word is for our profit.

We must learn the virtue of selflessness. We must learn to serve the brethren. God has commanded us to serve the brethren and to lay down our lives for the progress of others. The commandments of the Lord are for our progress. Laying down our backs (lives) for the brethren is tantamount to raising or building. Instructions are for raising, they are for our good. God’s instructions are not to kill us; when it feels like we are dying, we are actually living. The devil sold us a dummy. He knows these laws because they have raised him in a measure.

Becoming a spirit is an advantage and remaining as flesh is a disadvantage. Remaining as flesh makes us victims of the harm of Satan. We escape the adversary by becoming spirits. It is only spirits that can escape. God wants to bring us to a place of advantage and edge where we no longer react as flesh would.

“Know ye not that we shall judge angels?” (1 Cor. 6:3). Greater judgments are being committed to our hands that would make us better than the angels and thereby judge angels.

“Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.” (Jude‬ 1:9).‬ When Michael went to contend with Lucifer for the body of Moses, he did not reply one bit despite all of Satan’s provocations. Satan brought railing accusations against Michael but he, being a spirit, was framed with laws that could not give back railing for railing (1Pet. 3:9). Satan was very lawless, and he still makes people lawless.

Michael was a righteous angel but Satan had fallen. Michael was better than Lucifer in all realms. Everything about Satan was corrupt; nothing good could come out of his mouth. He wanted the body of Moses so as to stop his witness on the Mount of Transfiguration which would have required his body. Satan was very desperate to contend and win over Moses’ body. He was the same person who stirred Moses to make a mistake that stopped him from entering the land of Promise.

We must become spirits. Become spirits is not spookiness or avoiding food. Rather, it has to do with engaging spiritual and divine laws in our souls; and making sure that we do not fall into negative laws that kill our souls. We need to constantly war in our souls to obey God’s will and commandments, even during our everyday activities.

There are laws that configure spirits and God is bringing back those laws in our days. One of such laws is always coming under authority. In Jude 1:9, Satan was no longer a dignitary. He was a fallen angel and brought railing accusations on Michael. However, Michael, who was still a dignitary in the heavens came under order when he was rebuking Satan. Michael said, “The Lord rebuke thee”. This means that he came under the authority of the Lord in the face of railing accusations from a fallen dignitary. This is the righteousness of this present heaven. However, the everlasting righteousness of the world to come is higher than the righteousness of the present. If Michael, a being of the present heaven, possesses these high virtues and we have been called to judge them, then it shows how much strides we still have to take. God is calling us to come up to inherit a better world. Our place is far beyond the heavens.

The beings that occupy the present heaven are beautifully arranged; perfect in beauty and full of wisdom. But this wisdom is lower than the wisdom that is ordained for us – the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the world unto our glory (1 Cor. 2:7). God wants to deck us with hidden wisdom. This is the hidden wisdom that can destroy Satan.

Satan comes to us with fallen wisdom. Satan sells rights and self-justification to us and because we are unwise, we fall for them. If we are not kitted with better judgment, we won’t be able to disarm evil thoughts. We must learn and receive the judgment that would disarm Satan. We must not allow his thoughts. When we lack the correct judgment of everlasting life, we would be meat for Satan.

There is a kind of wisdom that we would have that would prevent us from staying in unforgiveness; that will make us hate iniquity with passion. We would hate those laws because they would make us fleshier. We will see it as that which is able to kill and make us come under Satan. It would not give us an edge to destroy wrong laws.

There is a point we should come to where we are afraid of pride. Satan possesses high and proud thoughts. His fallen judgment inflates us like balloons so that we would be pompous and he can feast on us. We need the wisdom of God to deflate his balloon. Pride is in different shades and forms; it can be subtle. We must be raised by judgment to nip it in the bud. Pride killed Satan and we must not allow it to kill us. What makes unforgiveness riveted in the soul is because of our ego. The Lord will teach us not to see ourselves as anything and to even make ourselves littler than how we have been described.

When we learn to be meek, it would be easy to obey commandments. We must learn to disarm wrong natures and laws. Satan could not get Michael to offend else, he would not have been able to lay claim on Moses’s body. May we be able to finish assignments that we are sent with, but we need to be kitted by judgments of a spirit. Only a spirit can finish the will of God. There are many things that can stop us on the way and that is why God is training our hands to war and our fingers to battle (Ps. 144:1). Our battle tools are judgment. Judgement refers to the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ; the revelation of everlasting life and Eternal Life.

God wants to make us spirits. It takes laws to raise spirits. We would love the law in this season and cooperate with God. It would be our meditation day and night. We will cooperate with His Spirit and His leadings. As many as are led by the Spirit, they are the sons of God (Rom. 8:14). When revelations come, we must be led also. We cannot become spirits when we are not being led according to the revelation we are receiving.

The sons of God are spirits and not flesh. The Lord trusted the arrangement in Michael when he was sent to contend against the adversary for the body of Moses. May God trust us to complete His assignments. The substances that would make us better than angels will come to us by revelation.

The ministering spirits sent to minister things of salvation to us will not change out of envy or jealousy because they were not configured that way. We should hate our arrangements because our present conversation is ugly. Anything that wants to make us think of self is ugly. It is Satan’s trait and we must ask God to help us to let go. It is possible to let go of oneself. Letting go of ourselves would make us come into a better life. Nothing is as important as living. Nothing is as precious as becoming a spirit.

Flesh has nothing to offer. The world has nothing to offer and God has everything to offer. There is nothing worth more than escaping flesh or the human arrangement. What is called the human arrangement today is the arrangement that Satan sold to man. Nothing is as precious as becoming a spirit. God wants us to escape corruption and become spirits. The season upon us is the season to become. When these things are being preached, God is showing us images. We must live daily with the vision of becoming a spirit.

Spirits react differently from flesh. We are journeying to the realm of spirits. God is not a spirit just because He is invisible but because of the laws within Him. The giving of God’s laws shows us what God looks like. For example, Jesus did not react to Peter's betrayal. Although Peter offended friendship, our Lord was not offended, and He did not condemn him. He never raised Peter’s denial or talked about it. We must desire to be like this. These were the laws that configured Jesus.

When Jesus met Peter, He still committed the work of feeding the flock to Peter despite the denial (Jn. 21:15-17). It takes judgment and understanding to overlook things. Jesus saw above Peter’s denial and understood his frame and the pressure behind his actions. That resurrected nature of Jesus is like unleavened bread and does not know unforgiveness. It does not have the leaven of malice and insincerity. When Jesus appeared, He still regarded Peter as one of His brethren and did not even behave like he did anything. Jesus still allowed Peter to see Him in His resurrected state. We must pray to come to this realm. These things are not far-fetched, they happen daily by obeying the commandments of God. We do these obediences in our relationship with our spouses, brothers and sisters. We must pay attention to the situations that come our way to make us spirits.

We would only become spirits if we obey laws that come our way daily. The limitation is that we often disobey the instructions that come our way. We must be more deliberate about the laws that come our way to change and raise us. We are meant to free ourselves from the leaven of malice, insecurity and selfishness by obeying His commandments. The agelong agenda of God is to turn man into the kind of spirit that can enter into His eternal realms. This spirit is the Godkind of spirit that is higher than angels who are spirits.

Blessings!
