Text: Psalm 41:13, Psalm 90:2
Before the soul would own eternal life as its own possession, it must be skillful in everlasting life. This means that the soul must be everlasting in nature which gives it capacity to own eternal life. This everlasting nature is from one to another.
The mountains that were laid in the foundation of the earth are almost as old as the heavens (Hebrews 1:10). God put the earth in waters and made it standing in waters (Psalm 24:2; 2 Peter 3:5). These waters must have been very massive for the earth to be fully submerged in it.
In the beginning, the earth was intentionally without form and void (Genesis 1:1-2). This earth was beyond the planet earth; it also included all of the solar system and beyond, all of which were submerged in water. Before the time when the spirit of God began to move upon the face of the earth, the angelic age had occurred and Lucifer had already fallen from heaven. He did not fall into the earth but fell into the depths. Hence, Jesus also descended into the depths to defeat Satan, and ascended from there into the heavens.
Heaven and earth are not recorded as God’s first creation. The creation of heights and depth predate the creation of heavens and earth (Romans 8:39). The mountains that were brought forth at the foundation of the earth also bear witness to the everlasting nature of God (Psalm 90:2). The high praises of God are in the everlasting realm.
It takes beautiful feet to stand upon mount Zion (Isaiah 52:7). It is this man that can say unto Zion “thy God reigneth”. This person is situated on Zion as a preacher to Zion. This being’s feet has been prepared by the gospel. The gospel is a walk and it produces a kind of feet. The gospel is the way of peace (Romans 3:15,17). It takes walking in the way of peace to make a covenant with peace (Matthew 5:9; Malachi. 2:5). God made His covenant with Levi by making him have life and come into peace.
What God checks is our feet, not our face. He assesses how we have walked and the path that we have tread. We are supposed to move into the good tidings of good so that we can be qualified to speak to zion. A man with the first good tidings is capable of speaking to flesh and turning them to stones. We climb the mountain by the good tidings of good, which is the gospel of salvation. Anyone who has made covenant with the incorruptible has come to salvation, and has possessed beautiful feet. To possess beautiful feet means to walk in perfection.
It is a full grown priest - the high priest - that can stand on Zion. There was once an high priest upon the angelic zion who was walking up and down amidst the stones of fire (Ezekiel 28:14). He was bearing the message of the everlasting gospel, declaring unto them, “thy God reigneth”.
The minister of the sanctuary and the true tabernacle proclaims that God reigns. This minister is a Father. Salvation means perfection. It also means security. Salvation is the rating in the heavens. Jesus was made higher than the angels. This makes them eager to minster for those who shall be heirs of salvation (Hebrews 1:14). Our attainment into salvation is their focus. They seek to know our height in the spirit, that is, salvation. Our height is measured by how well we have responded in the course of salvation.
The adversary walks up and down seeking who to destroy. Satan did not create anything, he only perverted order. The beast sitting in the most holy place spells out the heightening of iniquity in the most sacred place, that is a perversion. ‘Up and down’ relates to ‘everlasting to everlasting’.
The everlasting life is a beautiful message; it is a message of salvation. The reason why God sent Jesus is to give everlasting life and to stop perishing (John 3:16). The trees that were in the garden are no longer in Eden but now reside within books.
Worldliness is what leads to the corruption called perishing. Perishing is not a work of disintegration. Rather, perishing can be likened to receiving a gift of light. God is the one who is stopping man from entering into the light of perishing.
Everlasting life can not be taught to a carnal man even if he is a believer who is quickened in his spirit. The born again believer has to first be taught the life of Christ which is resident in his spirit. Christ is the life of God; He is the offspring of the Father. This is why Jesus continued to declare the Father while He was on earth even until the point of death. It was afterwards that He could cry out to God on the cross because it was God that He was seeking all along.
The glory of the Father was what followed Jesus into hell and raised Him from the dead. After resurrection, Jesus was going to go up to purge us from all our sins before He could sit down on the right hand of God. Before He returned from the grave, He had to first preach the gospel to the spirits who were in hell (1 Peter 3:19). These men were men of understanding who were the sons of God that existed in the days of Noah.
As Jesus entered into His body it became a body fit for the throne; the body of a man born completely of God. The glory of a man’s resurrected body is commensurate to the glory he has attained in his soul (1 Corinthians 15:41).
Mary’s heart had gotten to a place that could reach the throne and interrupt Jesus’ ascension. This was the same woman who broke an Alabaster box at Jesus’ feet. Women are easily susceptible to the gospel. The woman of Samaria at the well was the first one to believe the gospel in all of that city and was very evangelistic about it. Women are very significant. The women in our lives can either make or mar us.
Jezebel was a woman who served a table that gave the everlasting meal of Satan. Jezebel is not an ordinary spirit, she is a feminine operation in the land of promise that seduces servants of the Lord to eat things sacrificed to idols (Revelation 2:14).
One can not preach to Zion stones without possessing an everlasting message. Death was fabricated upon Zion (Ezekiel 28:14). Lucifer was a cherub. The feet of a cherub is not situated amongst the stones but upon the mountain that is made up of the stones. Ezekiel 28 is a prototype of the church, the Zion church. As the church, we still have some interactions with the Zion of angels, which is the heavenly Jerusalem (Hebrews 12:22).
Every stage of our growth is replicated in the angelic stratas. Faith, Hope and charity are portions of the mountain that we are to climb. Satan’s feet was over the charity portion of the Zion of angels where he was blessing them with everlasting life; from one peak to another..
The beautiful feet are brazzen feet (Revelation 1:15-17). Jesus was not showing His immortal nature when He appeared to John, but was showing His everlasting nature so that the churches could do everlasting works well. The feet of fine brass are not an eternal feet but everlasting feet.
The message of salvation is from glory to glory, from faith to faith, from first to last. Just like the first Adam and the last Adam were the most important Adams although there were other Adams in between, so also the important stretch of everlasting life is the first and the last.
The feasts in Isaiah 25:6 are everlasting feasts. The fat symbolises Olive which is oil. the soul should be made fat in an everlasting nature because everlasting life consists of both fat and wine. At every juncture in the tabernacle, that is from the outer court to the holy place, there is an olive tree. It stands as a witness tree for the anointing. But the full potential of the olive tree is made manifest in the holiest of all.
Olive is a tree of honour (Judges 9:9). It stands as a witness. The vine which produces wine symbolises nature. The olive symbolises fatness which is what is necessary to break the yoke. Whilst it is good to possess nature, we cannot handle the adversary with just nature (vine), we also need the oil (olive). Olive and the vine complement each other.
The due that rests upon Zion is to develop the vine, the wine and the oil. The vine is the incorruptible seed, the wine is grace and truth, the oil defines the life.
The anointed cherub has the oil, the wine and the word. This is why he was able to make a feast on the mountain. Death is not ordinary, it is corruption. There is a level of death in the world. Hell and death is the second death. The spirit upon satan is corrupted. Scarlet is corruption. It is the colour of the beast and it has names of blasphemy (Revelation 17:4).
There must be an everlasting message to prepare hearts for salvation (Revelation 14:6). The name of the beast is the name of blasphemy. This is the first mystery that Christ and the love of the father will demystify.
It will take everlasting strength on the negative side to resist God and His everlasting gospel. Having lingered around the beast, the woman began to receive the everlasting nature of the beast also. This is why we must be careful not to linger around the world so that it does not sell death to us.
When the beast was carrying the woman, he had names. However, he had a single name when he was rising from the sea. The names were given to him for a reward. Without the names, satan was not going to give him his own seat of authority which is the name of blasphemy. The name of blasphemy is a reward for the beast's final separation from God.
The desire for name would make a man draw nearer towards receiving the stature of the beast. Satan can give names and is looking out for those who have love for names. The devil also understands and possesses the traits like those of the fruit of the spirit. The devil is long-suffering in nature. The everlasting life of God has a strength that can outlast the wit of an angel, especially a fallen one. The patience that is going to be wrought in us can weary Satan.
The Lord wants to make us spirits. A spirit is an enduring being that is not easily changed. Jesus was a spirit who expired satan and exhausted all of his options for temptation. God is going to raise saints after the same pattern who will foil all the wiles of the wicked and outlast his everlasting ability.
Satan is about to launch his greatest assault including two meals - darkness and thick darkness. However, the Lord will cause a light to shine (Isaiah 60:1). The Lordship that would do this is the person of the Holy Spirit as an olive witness of the wine. Men who have become olives have become clouds or trees of witness.
We should try to not be presumptuous about eternal life, but grow into it. Everlasting life is still a portion of eternal life to a measure. All the covenants that are going to be cut are everlasting covenants; there is no such thing as an eternal covenant. However, it is the everlasting covenants that would open up the door to eternal life.
Satan used to make a feast upon the zion of angels. He possessed a fat, wine and cup with which he could set feasts. Fat things which are full of marrow are fat things that have life. Everlasting lies have two natures; to be loved and to make. The name of the lie is an everlasting name. What satan intends to teach men is how to continue. The sin in the holiest is the sin of lying continuity. Names are for immortalizing people and to ensure that they remain even after death. We are going to be purged of names so that we can be named the names of Christ and of God. This is characteristic of this season of everlasting.
