Hebrews 2:1-3
"Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. [2] For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward [3]How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him…”
By the light of epistles, the book of Genesis is called the former things; the things spoken by angels are called the former things. Former things have stratas: we have the height of former things which are everlasting which angels are also part of. We also have the dimension of the spiritual and natural.
Former things are also referred to as the old things. When man fell, the old serpent brought his own system to govern what God created. Satan has corrupted many things. There is a mind we use to see things God created which still falls short of how God wants us to see things. The sense man uses to see things is conformed to this world.
Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world…" (Eph 2:2a), speaks of an ongoing learning. By reason of our learning, there are things we have imbibed that have affected the way we see what God is doing. Our mind is what we use to conclude and judge matters. Scriptures speak of the recompense of reward we would receive if we neglect what the angels have spoken (Heb. 2:3a). The scripture did not say, if we neglect “salvation”; rather, it is “so great salvation”.
We understand by reason of teaching that there are good tidings that publish peace and good tidings that publish salvation. Jesus is not just a teacher of salvation, He has “so great a salvation” which was first spoken and confirmed by them that heard Him (Heb. 2:3b).
We need wisdom. We need to learn to become spiritual by doing faith unto the end of commandments. The end of the commandments of faith is that we arrive at charity which is a state of being spiritual. Faith has a tongue which is hearing and hearing by the word of God; we just keep hearing and doing it until we arrive at charity. A man of charity is a godly man; charity makes us spiritual.
The ministry of the oracle is not limited to those who can vocalise with their mouth. This is because people who are dumb are able to receive the Holy Ghost and also operate in this realm. God is just and He has no respect of persons. Physical impediment does not hinder what God does. Dumbness only affects the body; the spirit and the soul of a dumb man does not have the impediment. These things speak of a work inside.
1 Corinthians 13:11
"When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things."
Paul was speaking of spiritual growth. There is a way a child speaks and there is a way the learned also speak. A sense that is well exercised may not speak esoteric things, but a child, in order to show off, might always like to speak esoteric things. The manner of utterance that the servant and handmaiden of God has been given is by reason of rigorous obedience to commandments over the years; it comes by inward building and stature
The Lord also has things inside Him. The Lord started speaking on earth and now sits at the right hand of the Majesty. He that spoke on earth was an everlasting Being. When He died and was resurrected to the right hand of God, He resumed speaking. What He is speaking at the right hand is higher than what He spoke when He was on earth. We can move from knowing the things of Christ to everlasting things; we must also understand that there are Eternal things.
There is a way Jesus spoke on earth; those conversations cannot be understood by a carnal man. As we are growing, we begin to understand that what Jesus taught was everlasting. The ministry of revelation is dynamic; as we grow in our walk in submission and obedience, we grow on the inside and have better understanding. For the Lord to bring things in the unknown tongue, it is as a result of the meal that has been given to us over time.
There is the mystery of God, the Father and Christ. It would take the unknown tongue to hack into the mystery of God. We cannot relate with the unknown tongue if we have not attained the stature of being spiritual, and a measure of eternal stature (everlasting realm).
God was talking about three dimensions of people concerning tongues: there are those who interpret, expand and explain tongues. One must have been drinking the waters of everlasting/Eternal Life to be able to relate with the high thoughts coming to us.
The Most Holy has the operation of mercy attached to it; it is the dimension of sure mercy. Every dimension has its own allocation of mercies, but the Most Holy is the realm of the sure mercies.
2 Chronicles 20:20
"And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper."
The thoughts coming to us now are to establish us. In God's kingdom, while we are at Christ He would cause us to start seeing the everlasting realm. God is showing us that there is a word beyond the everlasting, and it is well established in the scriptures. The manner of speaking coming to us is not after the realm of children. Paul began saying he would pray with tongue and understanding (1 Cor. 14:15). The essence of tongue is to give understanding.

When understanding comes, we move to a further zone of thoughts. The reason everlasting life has not become our daily thoughts is because we have not come into understanding. Thoughts we take are a product of understanding. This is why attending meetings is very important. We need to continue hearing for us to have understanding, and it would take a lot of understanding for it to become a thought in us. We cannot take thought of what we do not understand.
A man may have an illness in his body and not be aware of it, but the day he becomes aware, the symptoms that were not in manifestation will begin to manifest. This shows that it is by understanding and having the thoughts that we have the experience. Knowing is not just about having knowledge alone on the face value, rather it is a knowledge that would birth life.
We must keep hearing because we need many thoughts at different levels in our walk. We must move from carnality to having the thoughts of the spiritual. We must know spiritual things and then we move ahead. We must keep hearing till we come to know and it becomes our conversation. We need to keep knowing until we know as we are known (1 Cor. 13:12).
We must not be weary of learning and understanding. We must believe; it is when we believe, we will come to an understanding. We would know and also come into realms higher than even the everlasting realm.
