The remembrance of the Lord is both in the drinking of the cup and the eating of the bread (1 Corin. 11:24-29). The topic of the cup came first because we needed to be initiated into life. Last year, God gave us the permission to speak around the Father’s cup and it was evident by the details we had concerning the subject. Next year will be a strong year, not just in our camp but in the body of Christ generally. God is preparing His own people for the years ahead. We must know how to feed in this season, and have the capacity to feed.
Our heart preparation is very important in this season. We are not certified to inherit eternal life just because we are hearing the words of it. The Lord will come to try us to see if the words mean much more to us than any other thing. Just like we always have capacity to sit at movies, we must also have much more capacity for the words of everlasting life.
This is not just Church doctrine but the bringing of God’s eternal agenda to visibility. If they are not taught, they cannot be seen. Details have been coming to us concerning everlasting life but God is adding more details this year but emphasizing the issue of bread. The Lord wants to unveil the person of our Lord Jesus more in this season. As we are remembering the Lord, we will have a breakthrough into His content. n Christ. Christ is not enough but Jesus is enough. Jesus was not born as Christ, He was made Christ. He was made both Lord and Christ.
Christ is not the surname of Jesus, He was made so by obedience. God made Him Christ not by favoritism, but by going through the curriculum of building; Jesus was built into Christ. The program of God for man has been laid down in God’s thought but it was only Jesus that could fulfill the program stage by stage. Jesus is more than Christ, He is also the Son of living God. When Peter by the help of the Father discerned Jesus as the Son of the living God, it was because Jesus was already in the season of obeying the Father (Matthew 16:16). Jesus as Christ and as the Son of the living God was still looking for something, He wanted to finish the work and enter into the place of God.
Jesus can appear to us in visions but when we have not developed the capacity to discern Him, we haven’t seen Him. The Church must have X-ray machines who are ministers to reveal the person of Jesus. Jesus hates the doctrine of Nicolatian, Jezebel, and Balaam. This is because they refused to preach this Jesus but rather mixed Him with His enemies. If we love this world, we have not only betrayed our Lord Jesus, we have also betrayed all that the world has killed; we have betrayed Stephen, John, Paul etc. You have betrayed brotherhood if you love the world; we must not love the world. It’s a betrayal for a pastor to be unable to comfortably stay on preaching Jesus.
All the words of this law is the building of a man from his estate of dust to the thronic estate. Each bread is a law. Christ is a law, everlasting life is a law, and eternal life is a law and they are the calibrations of bread that we are supposed to eat. Jesus is Christ, but He is also the Son of God. When Jesus was on earth, He was able to (by the Holyghost) capture all the details of the building manual for man. Jesus did not come to earth as God or Word, He was made flesh. Jesus Christ as a man, began the building of God from scratch. God raised an eternal model that every other man should follow. It should have been Adam but he failed in doing the curriculum. In between Jesus and Adam, no one could fulfill that curriculum because something has been tampered with in their making.
Jesus was able to capture all the details of the building. God began to build Jesus from the scratch, and Jesus followed Him thoroughly by the Spirit. The building has three major categories, there is Christ, there is the Living (everlasting) God and the True God. Jesus was first raised as Christ, but He knew that it’s not enough to stay in the identity of Christ. He had to move forward in the building program.
Christ is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith, and Jesus finished that program. Jesus fulfilled all the righteousness in Christ (Matthew 3:15). When John baptized Jesus, He fulfilled all righteousness in Christ and He received the approval from the Father. The Father said. “This is my beloved son” (Matthew 3:17), then the Holyghost drove Him to the wilderness to start the second curriculum (Matthew 4:1). When Jesus said, “the Father is working and I’m working” (John 5:17) He was not referring to ministry work but a work that the Father was doing inside of Him.
“How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;” Hebrews 2:3 KJV. The Gospel of the kingdom is the gospel of salvation. Anyone who is preaching Kingdom and knows nothing about salvation is not preaching Kingdom. Preaching the Kingdom is more than taking over the so-called seven mountains. Salvation is the same as everlasting life. The Kingdom is not about ruling but that God wants to rule you, He wants to dominate you. You cannot have dominion if God does not have dominion over you. You cannot sit on the throne if you have not been beheaded.
“And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.” (Rev. 20:4 KJV). They referred to souls of them that have been beheaded, not just physical heads. The head of the soul is the carnal mind that must be cut off. We should preach the Kingdom but we should make sure we are dying. When Jesus was on earth, He was mindful of the program of God, He was conscious of it. The pride and reason of existence to Jesus was to become the building of God. Our daily and primary vocation must be to be built up spiritually. When Jesus was about finishing the building, He began to talk about the third dimension of the Kingdom.
In John 17:4 , Jesus finished the everlasting works even before going to the cross. What we call “Finished work” was first finished in Him. He then went to the cross to connect mankind and bring back God’s original plan. The essence of redemption is that we are bought back to be built. This is because we fell, and need to be built back.
In John 17:5, there is something called “the glory that was before the world was”. God promised the glory before the world was."Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness; [2] In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began…" (Titus 1:1-2). This promise was what Jesus was asking God for. Jesus firstly finished the work before He asked for the glory that was before the foundation of the world. God answered this prayer of Jesus.
“So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee.” (Hebrews 5:5 ). There is something it means to be glorified with God, it’s to be the Begotten son of God. Jesus is Christ, the Son of the Living God and the Begotten Son: these are all calibrations of bread. There is the bread called Christ, there is the Living Bread and there is the True Bread. Each bread is life, the life appreciates from one realm to another. If all that we attain is Christ, God is not yet fulfilled or happy with us.
We have failed God in our thoughts if we say that we are okay with just attaining Christ. Some people talk about simplicity, but scriptures made us know that Jesus taught things that are very hard. Even the disciples could not understand some of the things He was saying. Jesus is not simple, and wisdom also demands that we should not love simplicity. Satan himself is not simple. We should enter into the complexity of the doctrine, because we can understand it. No one is born as a doctor, he has to go through school. You cannot be simple and amount to anything. We should enter into the depths of the waters of everlasting life. Christ is life, the living bread is everlasting life and the true bread is eternal life. God cannot give us Eternal Life from the beginning. God is wiser than a man who will not give a brand new car to a kid. This is because the man knows that the kid will crash. So also, Christ is the first life we should have. Any man or believer who has not started learning Christ has no portion in Jesus. Christ is the beginning of learning.
The essence of going through the wilderness is because the promised land is in view. It would be a waste of time and resources if there was no promised land having taken Israel from Egypt to the wilderness. If inheritance is not in view, going through the season of Christ would be a wasted effort. Everlasting life is the inheritance of Christ. Christ is the wilderness of training.
The gospel of Christ is a pointer to something which is Salvation (Romans 1:16). The reason salvation is not yet understood in the Church is because Christ has not been unveiled. Christ is a pointer to salvation, not an end in itself.
God wants to circumcise our hearts, Jesus our Lord will not move an inch from where He is until the work is complete. Leadership will demand so much from us and we must not complain or murmur. Jesus is not just Christ, He is the living God and also the Begotten Son of God. If we suffer with Him, we shall be glorified together with Him, this is what it means to be begotten (2 Timothy 2:12). There are many who are ready for this word, but we must be well ordered. We must not become a stumbling block to additions, even in our local Churches.
We must have the attitude of Joseph, despite the hate, we should love. If we are being celebrated now, we won’t advance in the spirit, we will settle so soon; pressures and tribulations ought to push us forward in our walk with the Lord. Criticism is an entrance to more. If we take rejection rightly, it’s an entrance to more details in the spirit so that we can be entire, lacking nothing (James 1:4). All we are doing is for the body. The antichrist will come and won’t spare anyone. The Manchild is the one who will preserve mankind. We should keep obeying, influence will be given and many will be granted entrance into this waters. We should continue, and support leadership. We should prepare our hearts for long meetings. It’s not because we are talkative but God wants to talk us into security. May our hearts be more prepared to carry the work of salvation through. God will bring the spirit of burning and judgment to us.
“When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.” (Isaiah 4:4 KJV) These are not the filthiness of the world but of the daughter of Zion. Judgment here speaks of the spirit of understanding, high thoughts, while the spirit of burning is the spirit of zeal. We will be so consumed with teachings in this season. The spirit of burning would come upon us to obey and love fervently.
