1. God wants His image to be impressed upon our hearts, and He will perform this by an activity of the Spirit which we must be fully baptised into. The word of God creates seasons over us; it increases a level of vibrancy and commitment that births intense labour in the place of prayers. The effect of this is many-sided. One effect is the opening of a strong activity of the Spirit to make us come into an experience of image formation. The Lord desires to move men further from a place of understanding to a place of image formation by the saturation of understanding.
2. In the Book of Daniel, we see the potency of understanding (Dan. 9:1-27). The reality of making a transition requires many coordinated forces in the spirit that we must respond to. Many pressures/subjections come along with the activities of the Spirit that will make a man come into a greater level of life (Heb. 12:9). For many, there is an activity of the process of the Spirit currently at work that must be fulfilled. This can only be accomplished when we are able to apprehend that which God apprehended us for (Philip. 3:12). But we often become weary and our faith energy for this level of apprehension begins to wane. This is why God wants to raise the energy of faith and hope in our hearts to a point where we will be able to truly apprehend that which the Lord apprehended for us.
3. The process of the Spirit is what moulds/builds the understanding that a man has into an image within his soul. "Understanding" brings together all the pieces of knowledge we own in order to make us "come under to stand". We must come to a place where understanding begins to create an image within us; this is why a strong process of the Spirit that will turn understanding into an image must come. A strong mighty wind is blowing, and it will not only shake the forces of leadership in Nigeria, it will also lead to a great move of God that will bring great understanding.
4. The process of the Spirit is robust such that when it fully appears, its effects are real and evident. The dealings of God in our lives are not necessarily about having difficult experiences; these dealings are to bring about a change of nature in our souls and make our knowledge whole. This is how we become men who can bear and seamlessly hold knowledge and be changed. When God is dealing with us, there is always a destination in mind. However, our minds come with arguments/contentions at some point until we get to this destination. It is when we get to this destination that God has in mind that we would then realise that God was working all along to make knowledge reign in our hearts.
5. The process of the Spirit changes us from within; it makes knowledge sit in our hearts and enables us to hold (inherit) it. This builds an image in our souls through which God will bring us into dominion. We are in for a very profound experience with God. God is intentional about turning understanding into an image, and image formation means coming into dominion. We are in a very specific and profound season where we need to fully yield to the fire of the Spirit so that we can live.
