Eternal Glorious Fountain Ministry (EGFM)
Programme: Believers Convention Prayer Meeting (CPM Wk 1 Day 4)
Date: Friday, 24th June 2022
Minister: Reverend Kayode Oyegoke
“And in the midst If the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.” (Rev. 1:13). According to the Old Testament pattern, whosoever has linen garments has access to the Holy of Holies. However, there is something about a girdle, like we also saw with the creature in Revelation 15:5-6 who had their girdles on the paps.
“Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz:His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.” (Daniel 10:5-6). The man described here has his golden girdle at his loins and not around his paps. This tells us that the height of the girdle differs; there is the type for the feet, the type for the loins and the type for the paps. The beings who wore the girdle for the paps will go farther in the tabernacle.
The angels in Revelation 15:5-6 are higher in operation compared to angels who have their girdle at a lower body part. The angel in Revelation 1 was peculiar. This is the being the prince of Persia tried to stop (Daniel 10:13). These cherubims are highly glorious. We would despise anything of this world if the Lord opened our eyes to see these beings. Seeing them is a form of ministration in themselves. Angels can reveal things that would happen in the future. Angels can have different colours. Some angels can be olive in colour, just like the angel in Daniel 10 was green in colour like beryl.
“His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.[7] And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves.[8] Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength.” (Daniel 10:6-8)
“But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.” (Daniel 10:13). The prince (angel) was coming from heaven from God and the prince of Persia withstood him. The prince of Persia is a fallen chief prince. God had to send Michael, one of His chief princes. This is where people got the idea of an archangel. However, these are princes. Princes in the spirit are those who are reigning. The fallen chief prince who withstood the angel in Daniel 10 was the devil himself. He was also the prince of Babylon and Persia (Dan. 10:13).
On the other hand, the kings of Persia are evil spirits under the prince of Persia. All the kings of Persia cannot handle that being coming from God. Satan did not have a prince when he fell from heaven, but he had kings which he raised to the status of princes around him. So the prince of Persia is higher than the kings. It took the prince of Persia to withstand the angel. While Michael was dealing with the prince of Persia, the angel who was withstood stayed back to deal with the kings of Persia until he broke through to Daniel.
“Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days. And when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face toward the ground, and I became dumb.” (Daniel 10:14-15). There is an understanding that the angel was bringing that Satan did not want Daniel to know. However, Daniel was overcome by the presence of the angel and this was why he was dumb. When true ministers of God have encounters with the spiritual side of life, it can almost take away their strength. Sometimes they lose the ability to speak until the power leaves, just like the presence of Gabriel made Zechariah dumb (Luke 1:18-25). The overwhelming presence of heavenly beings took strength and breath from Daniel (Daniel 10:16-18).
“And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me. [20] Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come.” (Daniel 10:19-20). The prince of Grecia here is the same as the prince of Persia but in a different formation. This prince shed Persia to take on Grecia and should not be dealt with in the same way. This prince will come with a different formation, name and identity. Daniel had poked the heavens and expired Persia and so he morphed into the prince of Grecia. We need a different expression to deal with Greece. Satan morphed to make the weapons used on him obsolete and ineffective.
Christians can assault and overcome the spirit of one age but be clueless about another age. This is why Christians ought to always make strides in alignment with the Spirit of God because the Holy Ghost created spirits and knows their ability.
The status of princes is a title tied to promises. A prince is he who has received a promise. Another word for a prince is ‘heir’. An heir is not just he who is liable but he who is handling the inheritance. The word heir in Hebrews 1:2 refers to the prince of all things. A prince is he who has the genetics for control. A prince uses noble blood. The noble blood is designed to transact the very present authority of the throne and to engage it. Noble blood cannot use the throne without being enthroned. When one is enthroned, he has become a prince. A prince is he who has a sceptre of the reign. He is plugged into the reign. A prince is one who has accessed the inheritance and can use it to reign.
If these things that pertain to the throne are not being unveiled, we cannot sit on the throne. Michael guides the majestic things of the throne. These majestic things are merciful things, and they are the things that are injected into the genes of princes. One cannot have a share of heirship until God has decided to bring such a person into this place of authority to reign. Jesus shares the throne with the Father and we have to co-share with Jesus. Jesus cannot use the throne exclusively of the Father. Jesus uses the throne with God. We cannot do without Jesus because what makes Jesus is the Father which is in Jesus.
Micheal comes to us because God has purposed to share with us things that would make us reign. Those chief princes are spirits with girdles on the paps; they are not ordinary beings. There are things they hold and they are all spirits (Psalm 104:4). Lucifer was the son of the morning and he is a cherubim. This means that there is also a reigning factor attached to the ark. The ark reigns. The ark has crowns round about it; those emblems are faces for reigning.
The reigning of the ark is in everlasting life. It is the crown of righteousness. They are the crowns of righteousness that would sit the crown of the weightier glory of God. That realm is a borderline, it is the realm of princes, the dimension of reigning. In the book of Daniel, there are different kings with different lives. Life is the authority of rule. There are princes with a limited reign compared to the chief princes; such is the one who the prince of Persia withstood. Whosoever knows the elements of God’s throne will reign.
The chief princes are the only ones that can deal with the prince of Persia. The dominion of Persia was held by a spirit. Satan keeps morphing because God expires each of his dominions. Since he is a cherub, his dominions are four in number: gold, silver, brass and iron. All the dominion morphed; he moved through all the dominion and told Daniel that the brass kingdom is coming.
It is good that brass should come. The dominion Satan is founting out is losing strength. The quality of metal was reducing. They kept cutting those dominions from different places. All these dominions are coming from the four faces of a cherubim. God kept cutting it down till all the four kingdoms were judged. The last one was the one that was cut down into fire and judgment was given.
“I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;[22] Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.” (Daniel 7:21-22). These saints of the Most High are saints of the Most Holy. A time came when the saints possessed the kingdom as a result of judgment. This judgment is not after a nation's constitution. It is not about positioning oneself in the natural. What is up against us is beyond the natural. Satan is warring and weaving something (evil). What we should desire is not to take the earthly kingdom. We should fight to possess the kingdom. The saints should have judgment.
There are saints but we need saints of the Most High. Saints of the Most High are saints of everlasting life and Eternal Life. The first angel in the book of revelation had this visage (Rev. 1:13-14).
Satan is afraid of the kings and princes that God wants to raise on the earth. God wants to raise princes like Jesus. Satan does not want princes like Jesus. To have princes like Jesus, we must have men that have everlasting life and who would know how to sit in mercy–men who would be able to use mercy as a seat.
Angels cannot sit on mercy, the best they can do is to stand on mercy. They were far on either end of Mercy (Exo. 25:18-21). The mercy they are standing in is not the same mercy God gave Jesus. The cherubs are enjoying the mercy of creation. The mercy of creation is a kind of word for the eternity of creation. It is the eastern ground for creation. God kept cherubims in the east of the garden. He drove out the man and placed them there (Gen. 3:24). Cherubims are creatures of eternity, the east.
“And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood…” (Rev. 1:5). Jesus is the Prince of the kings of the earth. These kings are His princes and not those in Revelation 21 who are earthly. Rather, they are men who came out of the earth and took a headship higher than angels. That is why these present angels would not stop ministering for them who shall be heirs of salvation (Heb. 1:14). God is seeking heirlooms. He is looking for beings or people to reign with Jesus. Jesus cannot reign alone. He is looking for beings to reign with.
“If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:...” (2 Tim. 2:12). Jesus’ dominion is not finding expression yet because there are no beings to translate the life of His reign. The life is alien to earth, therefore some people need to import it and use it to live. A man cannot live out Eternal Life when he has not first become a prince. Eternal Life is not a life to avoid earthly sicknesses; it is not the healing of the body or for a carnal advantage. Eternal Life is for a high pedigree in the spirit.
Solomon did not have Eternal Life, but he had every worldly good. Eternal Life is not to solve the issue of poverty on earth; it is for something higher. Jesus is the Prince of life, the Lord of Glory (1 Cor. 2:8). Princes are those who have been appointed to use a life to reign. One cannot tap into the electricity of Eternal Life without being a prince. What makes one a prince is the life of Jesus.
The King Himself, that is the Father, when He made Heaven and earth, gave the right of reign to angelic princes. He shared reign among them. However, one of the creatures holds the peak of reign. He is more anointed than the rest. It is possible that this angel who is most anointed was Michael because He looks like God. Just like God, Michael’s hair is white as wool and snow. He was not described like Lucifer. Lucifer was embellished with things. But Michael seems to resemble a lamb that is meek. He was covered with meekness because of what he represented.
All these angels or princes are given excellent names. They had excellent names from excellent dimensions. When something is excellent, it is glorious. It is the peak of glory. These creatures are creatures of Mercy. Excellent ministry is a merciful and faithful ministry. Mercy is a commodity one cannot look for; mercy is sovereign. Mercy cannot be coveted for personal gain. Mercy makes the choice. Mercy chose Satan to be on the holy mountain; mercy set him so (Ezek. 28:14).
“For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.” (Romans 9:15). The gifts and the calling of God are without repentance (Romans 11:29). Choices, callings or gifts are the prerogatives of mercy. When God has chosen something, nothing can turn it. Mercy decided over Jacob and Esau. The first choice was Esau; God must have loved him from the beginning; he hated him because he hurt Mercy (Rom. 9:13). When Mercy is offended at a person, such would die without Mercy (Heb. 10:28). Lake is a choice and verdict without Mercy. Mercy has been removed over the lake of fire.
“But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince.” (Daniel 10:21). This scripture refers to Michael as “your prince” not the chief prince, so this is another being. There is a lesser stature of Michael. “And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.” (Daniel 12:1). There is 'Michael' the great prince who is not in the class of any angel. It is the Michael of the throne of God. Israel would not be delivered from corruption until there is a Michael, the prince of the gospel of God. The Michael who is the great Prince is not of this present order, He is a Prince in the world to come. What makes Him great is because he is a prince of a higher creation, a prince of an eternity that is so much better than all the angels.
The Prince of Persia did not want Daniel to have understanding (Dan. 10:13). Daniel was one of the princes of Judea; the revelation he received was of princes. He is an heir (Dan. 1:3-6). David's blood runs in Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. Many other princes were brought from Judah, but only these four defeated the table of Babylon. They refused to defile themselves with the portion of the negative prince’s food. They chose instead to eat leaves which connotes everlasting life; that was why they could stand in judgment; they were ten times better (Dan. 1:8-15) They overcame the portion of Satan, his evil tray or meal.
Whosoever will be counted among the seed of the great prince must not be defiled with women (Rev. 14:4). It is time to test princes. These times are prophetic. The portion that the king of darkness offer is designed to weaken one's strength. When a man feeds on that portion, the power of vision would be weakened, such would not see afar, and the king's portion would break one's oath. The king’s delicacy here does not refer to a natural meal. A man can be naturally poor, but he is eating the defiled food in the spirit. Some meals are evil; they are prepared by evil spirits.
Portions of the king in the book of Daniel are things put together on a table to sway the soul. Portion can be a terrible career on earth. It is okay to get some career but we must not allow that career to hack into our soul. We must treat our earthly careers like Daniel did. Daniel did not fail on the table nor did he fail in handling mysteries. There is nothing in the king's portion and his wrong table must not move us. We must be made higher than these portions. Many children of God are slain by worldly glories because of ignorance of what true glory is.
God wants to make us princes. Princes have the right of way to the use of the inheritance. A prince is a spirit. Jesus is a Spirit–an invisible Spirit. He is a Prince, a new weapon of God. A prince is a spirit and that is what everlasting life would make a man. However, Eternal Life is a ministration of a higher spirit that would make a man a quickening spirit. A spirit is a prince. We can tell how great one is by the quality of his spirit.
The phrase “God is Spirit” means that His nature is unending (John 4:24). God does not reduce, He does not change (Mal. 3:6). God is new every day. We need ages to know Him. After a long time, we are still knowing Him because He is a Spirit. Satan did not know who God was; that was why he misbehaved to Him.
A spirit is a spirit. A spirit is a prince. A spirit is a beast. He is past finding out (Romans 11:33). God generates newness, He is fresh. God is going to raise princes. He would assemble His children as a temple and call them ‘Michael’. Michael is one species, a temple. Our body would look exactly like Jesus. “Man child” is not one man; it is a company of spirit that has become a child (Rev. 12:35). The man child is a beast, a weapon that Satan cannot deal with because they are many. They are a high-quality breed that God fused. They are spirits God took time to raise.
All the dealings we undergo are to conform us to the nature of Jesus. This is so that we would receive mercy to be able to sit on the mercy seat. The cherubims do not seat or rest on the mercy seat; they stand at the border of each end with their wings facing upwards (Exo. 25:18-20). The realm of majesty needs God's nature. For God to give us His Spirit is to give us things of Himself. We must possess God's nature before we can sit on the throne (at His right hand).
Blessings!
