Ministering:  Pastor Azuka Ezeh

There is an estate in which a man will find himself and will not be able to come to Eden. However, God has made provisions available to bring man unto Himself this season. Adam could fall into sin in Eden because he had not yet come into full perfection. This is why we need to keep using God's provision till we are fully perfected. There was a commandment God gave to Adam to eat of all the trees except a particular tree (Gen. 2:15-17). Those trees in the garden were beings. There were other trees in Eden asides the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and the Tree of Life. In those trees consisted the law of faith, hope and charity, which Adam had to learn to bring him to eat of the Tree of Life.  Anyone who partakes of the Tree of Life has come into a state of perfection that the enemy cannot overturn.

The trees in the garden are light or knowledge. This shows that there were some knowledge that Adam did not come into, even when he was created. There were trees of knowledge put around him so he could learn. If Adam had attained the state of all the knowledge he was meant to come into, he would not have been able to fall. There was a commandment God gave to Adam that if he had obeyed, would have brought him into a higher life which would not have allowed him to fall.

“Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me. But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.” (John 14:30-31). The Father gave Jesus commandments; and He was able to keep His body because of obedience to those commandments. That was why the enemy could not find any of his things in Jesus (John 14:30). It was the same temptation Adam faced that Jesus faced when Satan took Him to the top of the mountain in the wilderness (Matt. 4:8); but Jesus overcame.

Jesus kept obeying the commandments of God till He was qualified to be the beloved Son (Matt. 3:17). He obtained knowledge through obedience to the commandment of God. This shows that Jesus knew things that Adam did not know because He had a greater level of obedience than Adam did.

Jesus came into some measures of judgements; He partook of every good and perfect gift (Jam. 1:17). As such, the enemy could not accuse Him. However, Adam did not continue in obedience, so he fell short in judgement. Our journey to God is not the same journey that Adam was meant to undertake because the strength of our souls has been thoroughly beaten down. The trees in the garden are referred to as the doctrine of God and the Father in the New Testament. Jesus was able to keep Himself, and we can also do the same by obedience to the commandments of God.

No man can be admitted into Eden if he has not come into a higher state of life called Everlasting Life. When God brought the Israelites out of Egypt, He gave them laws and ordinances. The laws and ordinances were tutors to make them understand the intent of God -- to raise them unto Himself (Gal. 3:24-26). God will not just receive any man but one who has come into wholeness or fullness of healing.

The commandments given to the Israelites was to minister to their sickness; it was to bring them to a place where they will understand the program of God. It was beyond the sacrifices of animals to God but the raising of a man with no feebleness. Such a man can close the gap between man and God.

We have been taught that leaves administer sight. When leaves are given to a man, what is given is understanding. It takes the administration of the Lord for a man to see that he needs help. Such a man will not judge his brother because of his infirmities. Arguments or disagreements are a result of a lack of understanding. Jesus can live with any man because of understanding. He can stay with any man regardless of the man’s infirmities. The reason why a man will have issues with his brethren is because of blindness.

The Word of God heals our diseases (Ps. 107:20). The first step to being healed (after this order) is to be born again (John 3: 3). Then, such will also need to be born of the Spirit and water (John 3: 5).  To be born of the Spirit and water, one must be brought into the church where diseases are dealt with. Every one of us is sick in many areas, especially in the area of disobedience. This is because Satan has crippled us. As such, we cannot take steps of faith.

Jesus asked us to take no thoughts for our life (Matt. 6:25) because taking thoughts is a sign of sickness. The reason why God is speaking to us is so that we can be healed of our filthiness. By the preaching of the doctrine of Christ and God, we see and get healed of our infirmities.

There is good health, and there is also perfect health (3 John 1:2). Good health is Christ and perfect health is the Father. It is one who has come into the perfect health that will be rewarded with God. No man can come into perfect health of the soul without the ministration of the Father.

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10). Life here is deliverance. The first deliverance we partake of when we come into the Holy Place is sight - the opening of the eyes of our understanding. It is at this point that we see our true need. The reason Jesus knew He needed to return to the Father was that His eyes were opened.

We cannot come into healing without knowing we are sick. The reason we are in church is to be healed of our infirmities and sicknesses.

“Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees. Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.” (Isaiah 35:3-4). Weak hands, feeble knees and fearful hearts are sicknesses in our souls. Weak hands are what prevents us from holding life, and this is a form of sickness. You cannot separate healing from salvation. Christ is "Salvation" while God is "So Great Salvation". We need to pay more earnest heed to the speakings of Christ because they are things that will save us and bring us to God.

The reason why we desire the things of the present is because of our blindness; but the Lord will have mercy on us and heal us (Amen).
