Eternal Glorious Fountain Ministry (EGFM)
Meeting: School of The Spirit (SOS)
Date: Thursday, 10th March 2022
Minister: Reverend Kayode Oyegoke
Jesus came into being the brightness of God’s glory and the image of His person (Heb. 1:3). The person of God has glory. Jesus is the illuminator of the glory of God and the image of His person. This tells us that brightness and image are not the same. Jesus is both bright and the express image of God’s person. Brightness is what gave Jesus the ability to shine the glory of God.
If a man is not bright, he cannot shine the glory of God. While Jesus was on earth, He was not the brightness of God’s glory until He was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father (Romans 6:4). The glory of the Father raised Jesus as the image of God and the brightness of God’s glory. Glory is a weight and the purpose of image is to carry this weight. Therefore, to be qualified to carry glory, you must be stuffed with the things of God’s person on the inside. The giving of God's image is the transfer of His person to a man so He can see Himself in him.
We need weight to carry God’s weight. It can only take two things to relate with God; His person and His glory. Jesus became the image of God so that we can be conformed to the image of His person. Thus, we do not need to get the image directly from God; all the substances of the image are already in Jesus and they are spirit and life (John 6:63). The things in the image of God are the spirits of God.
To bear an image is not to bear a physical resemblance of a person but to possess certain things that constitute the person. To bear God’s image is to bear who God is on the inside. The image of God explains the divine character of God or things that God is. While image speaks of things that can be found in God, likeness is the explanation of the operation of image. Likeness is like an outer court of image and they should both be studied.
What makes an image are wealth, riches, or things. Image means things or riches of God’s glory. Whosoever gets tired of image making does not want to look like God. A believer can get money or other things from God while he still looks like God's enemy on the inside. God still gives to His enemies; He feeds them and wants us to be like Him (Luke 6:35). This is a demonstration of the image in Him.
To see God is to x-ray the invisibility of God (John 1:18). The image of God is invisible and no man has seen this image before. If we do not see God’s image, we would not be able to see His glory. This glory is not just eternal and immortal but is also invisible. The two invisible things of God are the Godhead and His eternal power (Romans 1:20). The heaven and earth of this present creation speaks of the Godhead and the eternal power in a figure.
God trains us by chastisement and this often does not seem joyous to the flesh but yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness, if endured (Heb. 12:11). God wants to father us as spirits (Heb. 12:9); therefore, He raises us with His works. Works are what the Godhead does. God is both work and reward. However, we need to do the work to qualify for glory. Glory does not rest except work has been done. God wants us to do a work that will allow His mould to be found in us (Eph. 2:10). God wants us to endure the season when His person is being worked in our souls. Each substance of that work is not human.
The Spirit of God is God’s presence that can carry His things. It’s a permission that God gave to Jesus. “The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.” (John 3:35). Those who lack God’s knowledge or the ability to discern will think that “all things” here refer to the ability to gather or have abundance of (mundane or carnal) things. All things are all the particles needed for the formation of God’s image. All things of God have been committed to the Son, so He is the one who ministers the particles for the formation of God’s image. He ministers it through the Spirit of God.
The Spirit of God is absent in a Church where the focus is not on the formation of image in people. Preachers who can cooperate with this Spirit of God have to be ordained or made by God. Wherever they go, the Spirit goes with them. This Spirit is not for the healing of physical bodies but is for making God's image in the inward man; the Spirit heals the inward members of the soul. When people come to Church, Jesus knows that the best ministry is to make His image in them.
The Spirit of the Lord God is sent. Jesus had to be glorified before He could send a Spirit in His name. If Jesus was not seated on the throne, that commission to send His Spirit to represent Him would not be possible. Spirit does not represent any believer or any other son but The Creators themselves who are being worshipped. The best we can have is the Spirit upon but that does not make us an entity of worship.
The purpose of ministers of glory is to bring people to God. Ministers of the gospel are being anointed to work with this Spirit of glory. A minister of this pedigree must be able to discern when they are receiving a ministration from an angel and when they are receiving from the Spirit of glory. So the purpose of ministering spirits is to administer help to the people and this help is the image flow.
Some people claim to not have an issue with the message but with the preacher; thus they disdain the preacher. “He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward ...” (Matt. 10:41). The name of the prophet here is the spirit upon him. A prophet like Jeremiah has a name, which is the Spirit upon him. A prophet cannot be named unless he is first trained under that name. The name of a prophet is a spirit and entering into that name is entering into the authority of the spirit. A prophet cannot be named until he can carry the authority of the name. Therefore, a prophet may be able to teach but may not yet have that authority and must wait for that authority to fully rest.
The Lord wants us to re-tune our minds. We may be making mistakes, sometimes sincerely, in this place of aligning under authority and we should re-tune our hearts and come back under. We should submit one to another. Even in marriage, wives should not lightly esteem their husbands. Wives should come under their husbands and not disdain them, even secretly. You will struggle in your place when you are not properly aligned. When you are not under authority, you will leave the place that God has placed you.
The righteousnesses of God are spirits (or particles) of God. When all of these spirits are ministered, one is set to be made the righteousness (or image) of God. The image of God is the righteousness of God. If image making is glorious, then the person of God is glorious (2 Corin. 3:17-18). Image making is a work of glory (Heb. 1:3). Glorious things start from the image making of the Lord God, which pertains to the things of everlasting life. Everlasting life is a glorious life, but there is yet the glory of God.
There are two different kinds of glory: the glory in the works of God is one level, while the glory in the reward of God is another. The glory that has to do with works is the glory in the works of God--which is everlasting life.
You cannot trap the person of God if you are not a son. Any man that is formed by the image ministry of God is begotten. God begets us by sending His things into us. When we have the things of God and do not relinquish them in the face of temptations and trials, we will end up being born of Him. There is an adversary who is also contending for our birth. Satan is insisting that we become his own son. The tempter came to tempt Jesus so that he could birth Him. Satan also wants to have a son. Satan is a thief and cannot produce his own son but waits for God to raise one and then comes to steal and kill them. This is what Satan did to Adam, he took Adam’s spirit and took Cain’s soul through temptations.
Sinning unto death is cooperating with the birth canal of evil. Someone who dies is a son who cannot turn back to God. There is no room for repentance for such a person again. The day of salvation is also the day of temptation (2 Corin. 6:1-2). To be workers together with God is to cooperate with the Spirit or ministry of glory. Those who undertake the ministry of image-making are workers together with Him.
The time accepted is the season of being made the righteousness of God (2 Corin. 6:1-2). The time accepted is not the year accepted. The time of being accepted is small compared to the year accepted. The time accepted is the day of salvation. It is in the day of salvation that we are being succoured, in the time when God is raising us as everlasting men (Heb. 2:18). The season of image-making is a time of succouring those who are being tempted. God allows it for the sake of glory.
Jesus will not have been proven if Satan did not come to tempt Him. The Son needed to overcome Satan to show that man can overcome him. God is showing that if it was possible with Jesus, then the rest of mankind can also be free.
1 John 3 is a teaching on how to refuse the evil and choose the good. When you have refused the evil, the seed of God remains in you (1 John 3:7). A person in whom the seed of God remains is being born of the incorruptible seed. After using the seed to carry out your birth process, you own the seed, and you will be unable to sin. The nature or ability to not sin is in the program of the seed.
Satan wants to commit us; he wants us to be born of him (1 John 3:7). Satan is no respecter of any man as long as the man can still be tempted. Satan knew that Jesus was God made flesh but still went ahead to tempt Him. It is God’s desire that every soul will learn how to stop sinning because it is possible. Just as Jesus, we can become separate from sinners and be harmless (Heb. 7:26). This is why Jesus is interceding for us. Jesus’ intercession is a succour.
One of the greatest characters of the person of God is that He cannot sin. Jesus the Son of God cannot sin or be tempted. The seed of God cannot be tempted. The seed wants to teach us not only how to stop sinning but also how we will not be susceptible to temptation anymore.
Death is a program that Satan outlined for a soul to be born by him. Anyone who overcomes death will be ever separated from Satan and all that he stands for. Satan was separating Cain and after some time, he left God and became continually evil. What Satan gave to Cain was very strong but God helped Abel to refuse it. It was God who helped Abel; he was willing and God came to his aid. Cain was being born of the devil and attended the altar as a different species before God (1 John 3:12). It was not because Cain’s sacrifice was refused that he slew Abel, but because he had already been born by Satan.
A believer cannot love his brother if God has not first given birth to him. You have to love God first in order to love your brother. The two tablets of stones tells us that it is God first, then your brother. If God is not your God only, there is no way you will not bear false witness. You will do many things against your brother because you are not of God.
What the covenant is saying is this: “be born of God and then you will love your brother”. While there is a first charity nature (or obedience) that is carried into the Holy Place, this one is different. This is a charity that you carry out after you have become an everlasting man. This is the Charity between the Godhead; a Charity that flows out of the works of everlasting life. An everlasting man has high love that he demonstrates for the brethren; it is the holiest of love.
After some time, God will no longer wait for people to be born again or to journey in doctrine; He will preach His Son directly. “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.” (John 12:32). To lift Jesus up from the earth does not refer to the cross that was erected at Golgotha but to preach Jesus from earth to heavenly things. Preaching Jesus in the heavenly perspective is giving the only begotten Son.
There are two messages in the curriculum of the only begotten Son of God: everlasting and eternal message. It’s all eternal power and the Godhead. God will not pour his wrath on men until He reveals his eternal power and Godhead (Romans 1:20). God’s eternal power and Godhead can only be seen through the Son. That is when all eyes will see Jesus (Rev. 1:7).
God will raise preachers who will reveal the Son of God and preach Him from heavenly order. They will preach him with clouds, and witnesses. This gospel will go out and in that day and kings of the earth will drop their idols. Stars will turn to God, abundance of the sea will be converted.
The two gospels or messages can only be taught by men who have entered into it. What God wants to show to people is the eternal power and His Godhead. Jesus is both everlasting life and Eternal Life. This means that Jesus is the express image of God’s person and brightness of His glory. Jesus has both everlasting and Eternal Life.
You cannot be a minister of eternal glory except you are bright. Eternal Glory is weightier than everlasting life. Satan was not just a work, he also had brightness. He corrupted his works by the reason of his brightness (Ezek. 28:17). All morning stars are bright; they are all primarily daystars. A day star is a star of God’s works while a morning star is an eternal star which can deal with the eternal nature of God.
If you are not a bright one, you cannot administer eternal things. All cherubims, those that God gave the inheritance of the present into their hands, are morning stars. They are stars beyond works. The morning star that appeared to John in the book of Revelation led him about the Tree of Life and showed him the City. That tells us about the powers of these class of angels. It means that they could relate in a figure with eternal things but not the reality of it. They can have the idea but the substances are not in their hands. The angels whom God committed the present creation under their feet are not ordinary angels, they are angels of brightness.
You cannot minister Eternal Life if you are not bright. This is why Jesus is the bright and morning star. This means that Jesus is the minister of Eternal Life. You need brightness to see Eternal Life. Jesus has said that He will give us the morning star if we overcome (Rev. 2:28). The gift of the morning star will give overcomers the capacity to illuminate the eternal nature of God.
There are two dimensions to glory; glory as a day star and glory as a morning star. The book of revelations was not written to the day stars directly but to the angels of the Churches. The angels were the stars of the Churches. Angels speak of people that Jesus can send to a place where they themselves can produce what Jesus wants to give to the people (Rev. 1:20). The angels have the capacity to minister what Jesus wants to give to the Churches.
The season when we go through what Apostle Paul described as “light afflictions” is the season of everlasting life (2 Corin. 4:17). Whosoever has the glory of everlasting life will have afflictions because many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him from them all (Psalm 34:19). It is in everlasting life that we will need deliverance from evil (Matt. 6:13). So Apostle Paul had to pray that God will deliver him from every evil work (2 Tim. 4:18).
Bright beings are the sons of Eternal Life. Jesus is not just the image of God’s person but the brightness of God’s glory. This glory is not something shiny but a weight. It’s raw Eternal Life. That glory of God is a person, and Jesus is the brightness of that person. This means that Jesus is the only one who can make us understand God’s glory. The world of glory is dark to men without Jesus.
Jesus is not a mere morning star. Referring to Him as the Bright and Morning Star means that He is the brightest among the bright beings. You need brightness to see Eternal Life and immortality. If Jesus does not bring that light, one cannot even think along that direction.
After keeping everlasting works to the end, we need to overcome Satan who is a morning star. To undo what a morning star has done is difficult. This is why God had to give us Jesus, who is higher than the morning stars of this present creation. Jesus is of a different world.
The reward of the morning star is not an everlasting thing. It came after the promise of everlasting life and is not among the promises of works. Everlasting life is a promise of God; Eternal life is also God’s promise. The morning star is an Eternal reward that is promised to those who overcome (Rev. 2:28). Every promise or gift that is given after the season of overcoming is not everlasting in nature but eternal.
Transition into the eternal realm is a transition into eternal things. This transition is not until we get to heaven; it will occur in our minds and reasonings while we are here. God wants to give Eternal Life but it is high. Many people in the Church are not ready for such learning. A generation that is lazy with hearing cannot get life from God because all of the lives of God come by hearing.
