The everlasting nature of sin makes it linger and resurface, even when it seems that it has been overcome. We therefore need the everlasting light to accurately deal with sin. We may overcome some expressions of sin, but to really be free from sin, we need to overcome it from its source.
Sin is the stature of an everlasting being who once walked amidst the stones of fire in heaven (Ezekiel 28:14). The stature of sin is a body full of members that must all be overcome. For sin to be fully overcome, the person of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is an everlasting Being, must appear.
Jesus has sufficient light in Himself to put an end to the workings of sin in us. Sin has embarrassed the church for years, but Jesus is shining the everlasting light for our deliverance.
The spirit of the air is presently teaching the doctrine of the second death to man with the desire to birth the man of sin upon the earth (2 Thessalonians 2:3).
Angels are responsible for authorizing the declaration of certain dimensions of the gospel to man (Hebrews 1:14). A message needs to first be declared in heaven for men to be authorized to declare that message on the earth.
“Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.” (Revelation 14:7). This is the message of the angel who carried the everlasting gospel. We need to fear God in every area of our lives, but we need the everlasting light to shine for us to learn this fear.
Through the dispensation of the everlasting light, we will come into the glorious light of the gospel of Christ and gain quick understanding in the fear of the Lord (Isaiah 11:3). A believer needs to learn the fear of the Lord before he/she can learn the fear of God. The fear of God is a content of the everlasting gospel (Revelation 14:7).
One must first worship the Lord before one can worship God. Jesus’ worship of God was displayed in His obedience to God’s commandments. There is a light that teaches a man how to worship God (1 John 1:7) and it is the commandments of the Father that initiates this manner of worship.
It takes the fear of God to bear the commandments that Jesus received from the Father because such commandments are weighty. Jesus’ love for the Father grew so much that He did not allow anything to separate Him from God, not even the life of Christ that He had acquired. Jesus lived a life of obedience and got to the point where He could be asked to lay down His life in worship to the One He loves. This expression of love was borne out of the fear of God.
It is a measure of love that compels us to obey commandments, even when they seem grievous. Such commandments may cause bitterness in the soul, but only a man who fears God will still go ahead to obey them. Satan is teaching and putting men in a state where they would not fear God. Our fear of God will be seen in our response to the demands of the everlasting gospel.
The church has to be strengthened to withstand destructive spirits aimed at pulling down centers where the everlasting gospel is being preached. The everlasting gospel leaves no room for any other demand asides the fear of God. We must therefore love the everlasting gospel.
The time of the everlasting gospel is a time of judgment wherein God’s people will be separated and Babylon would be judged (Revelation 14:7-8). Just like the first angel carried the message of the everlasting gospel, the second angel will carry a message that would x-ray Babylon and lead to its expiration in the souls of men (Revelation 14:6-8).
This world is a product of a perverse everlasting being and has been responsible for fighting against every move of heaven initiated upon the earth. This world always tries to seduce the church to relinquish the commission of heaven upon her – with the aim of putting her in a state of lukewarmness.
Wholesome teachings are doctrines that will cause a change in the souls of men and will be responsible for the downfall of Babylon (Revelation 14:8). A third angel was sent after the declaration of the everlasting gospel to enlighten men about the image of the beast (Revelation 14:9). Painfully, some believers will be aware of the image of the beast and still choose it because they did not learn the fear of God when the everlasting gospel was preached.
The image of the Son of God will be formed in those who love and fear of God. It is the emergence of such people that will lead to the crumbling of Babylon. On the other hand, those who do not fear God will choose the image of the beast when it is unveiled. We must therefore love both the everlasting light and its commandments when they are unveiled to us.
