Understanding the Demand of the Everlasting Light

The learning of Christ is the light to the saints in the world. On the other hand, the learning of God is the light to a community of saints who have used Christ as a light in their souls. Without having used Christ as light, one would not be able to use God as light. “For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.” (Psalm 36:9). You need light to see light. Without the light that is Christ, no one can see the light that is everlasting. God begins shining as everlasting light, and then to a higher degree of everlasting, which is eternal.

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life." (John 5:24). Jesus has the stature to carry the words of God because He is the sent one (John 3:34). Jesus had done this word and so it has become His word. Likewise, this light of everlasting life will not become ours until we walk in it. When we walk in it, it can then become a light of life. When it is with God, it is light. However, when it is transported to us, it becomes life. Therefore, the end result of light is life.

"Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth." (John 12:35). When light comes as life to us, it is for a little while. We ought to walk with that light while it is available, lest darkness will come upon us. This means that when God brings us to the season of everlasting life and gives us its light, it is for a season. As such, we must use it while it is available.

We live every expression of our lives, whether in marriage, as an employer, an employee, and so on by a light or an understanding. This is what usually informs our actions. The light governing a servant-master relationship is that servants submit to their masters, including the ones who are froward (Col 3:22-24, 1 Pet. 2:18). God can use that season of being subject to a master to work out salvation in the one who is a servant.  In the season of everlasting life, there is the time to hear the word, use it, and then be given a reward. The reward for using the light of everlasting life is salvation.

Darkness is a kind of understanding, which a man can live by and think he is doing well. It exists in all men and in various degrees (1 John 1:6). There is a level of darkness that the light of Christ cannot deal with, but it can be addressed by the light of everlasting life. The darkness that is prevalent in our world today is gross darkness, for it has an everlasting texture. The devil intends to keep the system of the slavery of hell and death running on earth, so that this darkness can remain over souls.

"Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. [2] For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee." (Isa. 60:1-2). We need to arise with everlasting light. This light is ours and it has come to us at these times for a reason. We ought to use our light, so that we can be children of the light. The reward of using the light of everlasting life is salvation. If we do not use it, we will not escape thick darkness (Heb. 2:3).

There is the darkness upon and the darkness within. The darkness upon is as a result of darkness within. "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come." (2 Tim. 3:1). Perilous times come as a result of what man has emerged into, in his soul. The result of men using darkness is death. Evil things do not come upon the earth without men breaking the everlasting covenant, which is the covenant of nature (Isa. 24:5). The everlasting covenant is broken in the realm of the soul (heart).

There are laws of God that keep the earth running. One of such laws is to love your neighbor as yourself (Matt. 22:39). When these laws are kept, the earth is preserved, otherwise the earth will break (degenerate). When the covenant is violated, ordinances are changed. Men have begun to change ordinances (ancient landmarks) that they know nothing about. The everlasting covenant is the covenant that God had with the earth. This covenant should be kept on earth, but unfortunately, it is now being defiled by its inhabitants.

Everlasting light can be used to live. One thing that must be premium in our hearts as we hear the preachings and teachings in this meeting (Anamnesis) is how we can use them to live. This is because this is the true reason for this light. We cannot escape out of darkness without using this light therefore, we have to learn to use it. Darkness brings condemnation (John 3:19). There is a condemnation that one who has not used the light everlasting would come into. However, our escape from condemnation is to pass from death to life. When we are raised, we will move beyond what condemnation can hold.

"Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat…" (Matt. 7:13). We must have an attitude that believes the word that comes to us at these times. Thoughts are doors. If we do not believe and accept the thoughts that are coming to us at these times, through these teachings, we will not be able to access the door of entrance to them.

Our Lord Jesus fulfilled the curriculum of Christ in the days of his flesh. Christ is a curriculum and an understanding. The reason why some people do not agree with the program of Christ is because they do not know who Christ really is. If we do not understand Christ, we cannot access the true God.

"For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me." (1 Cor. 9:17). What was committed to Paul was the mystery of Christ, although he also knew about the mystery of the Father. The time of everlasting life is a time when natural strength would fail us. If we do not wait upon the Lord to receive everlasting strength, we will faint and go weary (Isa. 40:31). Complaining and murmuring are attitudes of fainting. It is not possible to obey everlasting commandments with the strength of a man. We must therefore eat the everlasting bread to have everlasting strength and obey the everlasting commandments. There are everlasting commandments for us to obey in this season but we must receive strength because they will not change for us. We must obey them.

"Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock…" (Matt. 7:24). The "sayings of mine" in the verse above are the sayings of the Father. He who hears these sayings and does them would be living by a wisdom, which is of God. There is also the wisdom of this world and of the princes of this world. Men ordinarily live by the wisdom of this world, but a wise man is one who has found wisdom for living. Christ is the wisdom and the power of God. However, there is a higher wisdom, which is a hidden wisdom that will enroute you to glory. This hidden wisdom is also a kind of power that will not make a man faint. A man who does not faint is one who is not depreciating. The reason why God is unfading is because of a wisdom and strength that He has.

"And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.". (Matt. 7:25). There are different kinds of rocks. There is a rock that is called a sure foundation. When a house is built on this rock, it will not collapse despite the turbulence that comes against it. This house or building refers to men. The inability of the house to fall is known as everlasting life, for everlasting light was used to build it. There are winds of doctrine that blow against the Church but unfortunately, the Church at large is not yet committed to building men up.

Winds are spirits that come to strive upon the waters. With the wind also comes floods. The enemy will raise floods and rain (which represents doctrine) to beat down the house or building, but an everlasting man will keep standing strong in spite of all of them.

"Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves." (Matthew 7:15). Ravening wolves bring this rain and open the door for this flood, for they are gates of hell. Their intention is to make buildings crumble. These are the things that false doctrines can do. The wind cannot beat down a man with the everlasting gospel. In these days of the everlasting gospel, false prophets (who bring the rain and flood) will be revealed. False prophets are not christs. The Bible describes them as clouds without water and Satan sends them to make sure that buildings are not raised (2 Pet. 2:17).

When we use the everlasting gospel, the intention of Satan cannot prevail. We must therefore be built to be able to withstand the seasons to come. God wants to raise us to be everlasting. Parents and Pastors also have to become everlasting otherwise, they will not be able to keep in safety the souls whom God has committed into their hands. This is because the everlasting gospel will impact the kind of counsels being given to souls. God wants to raise everlasting buildings in Churches. This is so that they can stop the rain, the sand and the flood. These are the kinds of Churches that would be on the earth when Jesus comes. They are not meat-seeking Churches but Churches who seek the Lord. This is why God is bringing us to this point where we can use the everlasting light. Everlasting light is meant for use and when we use it, it will become our life.
