Programme: Tuesday Prayer Meeting (TPM)
Date: Tuesday, 6th February 2024
We have found mercy as a company in the sight of the Lord to get things done on earth the way God wants it. Tonight’s prayer meeting is tagged to the throne. The Head of the church has a stake in it. We cannot do meetings without the way the Godhead wants to do meetings. We must just meet the way They want us to meet, and meet how They want us to meet; it has to be in their way and pattern. It is good to be an apprentice under pastors and leadership because you are not just going to do ministry, you are going to be learning how to wait for the throne, and walk with the Head of the Church. It is a great privilege to be able to walk with the Head of the Church. The throne of God has to wait on you, and you also wait on the throne of God.
“The Godhead sent Gabriel. This is not just sending Gabriel from heaven to come and encourage a minister. Gabriel is sent now from heaven, and I believe it. The manner in which Gabriel is sent tonight is the same way Daniel received Gabriel (Dan.9:20-23). When Daniel had an encounter with Gabriel, it was more of the things that would happen now. But much later, this same Gabriel was sent to announce the birth of Jesus Christ. If an emissary, who brings news of that magnitude is sent, it is not for pride, but rather, we should be more cautious, watchful and wise. We should not let these words spoken to us slip from our hands.”
It is possible to deceive someone and keep talking to that person until the word leaves their grip. That tells you that the faith or thrust people have in this world is strong. There is a message tonight that has been elusive before now. It is like the message has a different kind of head that is not easy, from the way it is playing out. The message has a manifold manifestation and that is something to know when dealing with God’s wisdom. That manifold expression is to make you skillful in handling God’s things. Though it is manifold with many phases, it is to give you skill, when you exercise yourself to it and you are not tired of it. It is for you not to think one way, but to understand the ways of God. That is one nature we must have. Our own ways too have to be past finding out. If the ways are past finding out and we are finding them out, then it is the plantation of the gene of those ways.
We need skill for letters of the scripture. These are letters of some things. Faith is the substance of things. Those things are not those letters, but they are tangible in the realm of the spirit. You need skill to go beyond letters because letters limit. There is what is called the scripture itself.
Daniel 10:21
“But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince.”
“Michael your prince” means Michael, the prince of the Jews. The status of this angel is lower than Michael the archangel. There are things he holds. He is saying that there is only one man that can hold with him on earth. Even though he is lower in his ranking, he is also a prince. It can only take a prince to hold with a prince. This angel was talking about the state of Jesus while on earth. These were angels that ministered to Jesus while He was on earth, when He was not clearly glorified and yet to enter eternal glory. God glorified Jesus on earth.
John 17:4-5
“I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. [5] And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.”
Jesus did glorify God on the earth by living everlasting life. To glorify God is to live the life of God. Jesus gave opportunity to God's glory by living in the glory of God. Jesus saw the glory of God. Although all flesh is as grass, Jesus was not flesh. He lived as a man of God's glory (John 1:14). Jesus fully lived all these graces and fulfilled this truth. Jesus lived well on earth, but He was not earthly. Everlasting life is the portion of the exalted heaven that God calls earth.
Jesus Christ had not had the change into an eternal body, but yet He lived such a high glory on earth. This is where it is difficult to describe Jesus’s life on earth. Even though He lived the glory of God, and the life He possessed was higher than angels, He was still made lower than angels (Heb. 2:7). This is because of the nature of everlasting life. Everlasting life can be humbled to earth, but this does not mean it is earthly. That is why Jesus was being referred to as the Son of man. There is a division between everlasting life and Eternal Life.
In Genesis chapter 1, we know it was the coming of the everlasting God that came to redesign the earth. It is the everlasting God who came to earth to give our earth its powers. He blessed the earth. Even though this present earth was given a portion of everlasting copy, God made this present earth a copy of a different earth that was not yet appearing, and put a man in this present earth that is well and able to govern it. That man has the same capacity as the earth, but this earth could actually elapse more than Adam.
The last Adam (Jesus Christ) came even though He was trapped in a lower life. What was on earth was not the everlasting life of earth, but another life everlasting of a different world; that was what Jesus was operating. Jesus was more complex in design than we think. When Jesus came in the flesh, it was not an ordinary work. To clothe God with flesh is not an ordinary work. He was not Adam the first man, He is the last man, the Lord from heaven. The technology of making Him on earth would be different. This means Jesus trapped all powers in a high vessel. Comparing who Jesus was to who He is, someone can, with knowledge of scriptures, look down on Him.
Why will God be visiting again? Jesus the Messiah—your prince is the definition of a true prince, a prince of earth. He was on earth but had no taste bud for earth. Though He was on earth and had the body of earth, He has no taste bud for heaven. Both the present heaven and earth were not what He desired. Jesus was a man God showed His future, God told Him what to desire. A true earth prince is a prince who, although trapped in a limited vessel, can endure something greater. God saddled Jesus with many responsibilities.
When Jesus came to the earth, He lived above a normal man. He lived more than an earthly man. An earthly man is limited by infirmities and weaknesses, some of which were dealt with in the book of Genesis. An example is giving birth to a child. Jesus never had an offspring. He did not care to marry because the man to come should not generate biologically. That was the seed of the woman in Eden.
Daniel as a man prayed, and an angel brought answers. How a man under the Old Testament can be so aligned with heaven is strange. This is actually the identity of a true Jew. A true Jew is one who understands the order of worship. Worship is more than just singing. Revelation breaks through when the order of worship is done, as with Daniel. The angels mostly appeared in oblation time. When God is giving timing on earth, it must coincide with a particular time that They want to do something. If we are not aware of this timing, we will miss heaven. In mercy, they can cause us to wait until we fit into that timing.
A minister's mind should not be earthly or carnally ordered. So many churches cannot work with heaven because Satan has logically trained them to miss the order of worship. Timing in men's minds and churches’ arrangement of things is a submission to the worship of a different throne order. It is another order. It is a worship program; it is how we serve Satan. We cannot serve God that way.
Natural order is not ordinary, God has to offend it to get us blessed. In the prophetic destiny of Lagos, those who would break through in Lagos must break Lagos time. In cities like that, Satan orders time before God comes. Meeting for 24 hours is not right because Satan has done nature here. He is a carrier of nature; he fixed nature and God also understands that the earth is already set. This is why Satan is a prince. You do not take out the things a prince has done; you work around it and after a while, you reset it. God understands this and that is why He is not taking out the times and seasons—He understands dominion.
Even though our Lord Jesus was made a little lower than angels (Heb. 2:9), so much was invested in Jesus when He was on earth. Jesus obeyed God till the end. Jesus lived for God’s work. What Jesus lived for is for God's work to be done in a man. The most important thing that a man should do is to live for what Jesus lived for.
The purpose of earth is to have an opportunity to get the works of God done. Many will live on earth and will never attain getting the works of God done. God wants man to be His work. The first work, Adam, was not God's intention for man. Adam did not live as God's work. God did not design that work to exist on earth for too long. God regulated Adam’s life with the intention of making him become what God wants him to be - to grow above angels. The reason for the tree of life is to raise Adam to grow above angels.
The tree of life was the vision; Adam was to stay where the tree was and be planted there instead of the tree. Man is to live on earth above angels; this was God’s intention. Then the other tree planted was the fallen angel. This means that the purpose of earth transcends here; this earth can do much more than earth. If God could sneak Eternal Life into earth and plant it in Eden, and it grew, then the earth is made to last— to expand. All heavens are angels, hosts who are ministers of His, and all works in places of His dominion. None of all those beings will find another inheritance. They are already a work that is done.
“What did Jesus mean by saying, ‘I have finished the work you gave me on the earth’?”
John 17:4-5
“I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. [5] And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.”
Jesus' prayer here is a prayer of reward, not selfishness. He was asking for reward, but not selfishly. Jesus has the purest heart to get answers done because works had taught Him. Work is actually a purifier. Everlasting life is works. We can comprehend this teaching; it is not tedious. This is how churches in the beginning used to be. The church is not a low place but the glory of the Church was lost. The work God gave Jesus on earth is that everlasting life should be done by man.
Angels are laced with everlasting life of a different kind; earth is also everlasting of a lower standard. The earth is a laboratory for getting things done in creation; that is why God hid it from the beginning and put it in darkness and waters— He never allowed Satan to get there. Man would not know his advantage until after the world to come; we will realise what man is that He is mindful of him (Psa. 8: 4). Man is designed to carry out an experiment for God. He is actually a species that you can experiment with, and that is what Satan is also doing. Satan is experimenting with mankind; man has become as guinea pigs in his hands.
John 17:4-5
“I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. [5] And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.”
If God gave work to Jesus, He gave work to Adam. From the beginning (the book of Genesis), the work was ordained, revealing how man was made to rule the earth. The idea of reigning is from a fallen thought. We have very little sense in comprehending reigning. They need to awaken our thoughts and help us to come up, if not, we will remain beasts. As we awake in His likeness, our upgrade is being attained.
The job description or vision of the work was already on earth from the beginning. Adam could not do it. The last Adam came and did the work. The work is what God was reproving churches for in the book of Revelation 1-3. The reason for the three chapters is for insight into the works. The churches should now do what Jesus did.
Ephesians 2:10
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”
This surpasses Christ; this is everlasting life—the manifestation or summation of the Son of God. This is the course of the Son of God as against the course of the power of the prince of the air, the spirit that worketh in the children of disobedience.
Ephesians 2:11
“Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;”
The circumcision made by hands are the Jews; it means carnal laws made them. Jesus on earth did the work. The work Jesus did is what God wants man to be, and that is the blessing. It is a blessing because it is the place of the arrival of man. Man should not stop until he gets there. We should not stop work. Work means doing things that will keep you from being taken. Being taken refers to being taken by the devil. Therefore, we should not stop working until we have come to a place wherein the devil gives up on us. While the work is in progress, he will not stop but will want us to go back. Additionally, those who have not found work to do are not better.
The answer to the decay of a thing is anything that can undo the decay. These are things that we should be doing that will undo the decay. We have to do them because certain things we were doing, and still doing, made us turn bad. Men love darkness because of our evil deeds. Speaking in tongues and praying in the spirit does not stop us from going bad. It is possible to retrogress into decaying. Christ separates and sanctifies but these are not enough to stop a person from going bad.
What Jesus did on earth is what a man should do to not retrogress or go bad. These are the things Jesus brought and came to teach man. He is the only one who has done those things. No Adam or Noah has been able to get to the point of doing such things. Only the testimony of Jesus has been able to get this done.
What Jesus did on earth is one thing, which is what Paul also desired—attaining the mark. After Jesus finished the work, He told Mary that He is the resurrection and the life (John 11:25). This marks that the work had just been done; the prayer was a confession of what He should do on earth. One thing we must do with our lives is the thing that will make us not go bad. We must recognise that we can still go bad or decay if we have not finished the work.
While doing Christ, a person can die and go to heaven. But Christ is not the work God wants to receive. God wants the work He gave to man on earth. There is something called the gift of God (John 4:10). The gift of God is the living water (John 4:10-14). The living water marks the beginning of life everlasting. The living water is the living God. The living water springs up into the full life, which is the full God. Hence, the gift of God is everlasting life.
The gift of God is the Father; that gift is Himself. The Father is a Being who wants to find expression on earth. That Father is the work of God, the same work that Jesus did. Jesus did the Father and cried out to Him that He had finished the work He was given to do on earth (John 17:4). The Father can be done on earth. The Father is the earth of the Eternal God.
There are two heavens in God (Eternal and Everlasting), and only one of them can condescend. The stool of the Eternal God is the Father, and this is a portion of Him. We cannot do the Father in heaven. The earth was made for this very purpose; therefore, we must make sure we do Him.
This everlasting life is the living water and the true water. The Father can fountain as a drink. The living water is a spirit but not the Holy Ghost. The Holy Spirit, the Father and Logos are all waters; they are different waters of the Deity. They are waters of different semblance but are one.
Christ is a rock that gives out water (1 Cor 10:4). The water issued out of the rock is the giving of the rock. Drinking all of the water results in the solidification of the rock in a person. The rock sheds forth itself as water.
Jesus was referred to as the king of the Jews. The Jews found the true worshipper on earth. Jerusalem was constructed on earth for the Messiah because He could only be killed in Jerusalem. Jerusalem is the worship graph of the whole of Israel. Jesus lived in the part of Samaria and often came down to Jerusalem because He knew He would not return one day. Jerusalem is the house of the prince. The end of every animal is in Jerusalem. When they get there, they recognise it as the end. Jesus often went to Jerusalem and escaped. But a time came for Him to face it. He had to die there because that is where worship ends.
The most sacred spot there is Golgotha. Golgotha is stronger than their temple. He could preach in their temples but could not die there. Golgotha is right outside the gate or camp of the city. Jesus, from Golgotha, navigated hell; that was the gate of hell and the Place of the Skull. Jesus was meant to rise from hell to meet the Father, hence the need for Golgatha. Jesus used Jerusalem to suffer and ended His sufferings in Jerusalem, only to die in Golgotha.
Jesus needed to walk through the city and was tempted there. He had finished every work and pleased God. He was then given to the Gentiles to be killed and was crucified outside the city. This is so that Jesus could go to hell and go up from there. Jerusalem is very key to the devil because it is the end of worship. In the book of Revelation, He goes in there to stop worship.
Daniel saw the vision of Michael, the prince of the Jews, as a worshipper and a Jew. Jesus did the works of God here on earth and finished them. Afterwards, He asked for another glory. It will take the same work being present in us for us to ask for the next. The first glory is attached to a work, while the last glory is not a work but a reward.
Work is more tasking than reward. Work has to do with undoing oneself. Reward is not undoing oneself. If there is no work, there cannot be a reward. One who would get reward must have worked. The reward is a different kind of work. It is work being done without knowing there is a work being done. Attaining the resurrection of the dead is getting to a place where one can do resurrection. There are two kinds of resurrection: work and reward. Jesus was raised by God while on earth and after His death. All He did for Himself was to please God, but for us, He was a sacrifice. Only a work of that manner can undo one’s bondage. He was prepared as a Lamb of sacrifice to destroy Satan completely.
Breaking heaven and earth is Gabriel's commission. Daniel had to be given skill by Gabriel to see the visions he saw. A prince has power both with man and God; that is an Israeli indeed.
To be blessed is to be trustworthy for reward. If reward is laid on us, we will not go bad because we are sealed. The angels can bless the Lord because they are works (Ps. 103:20-22). When a person is a curse, he/she cannot bless God. A person who is not healed cannot bless God. A carnal man cannot bless God because God cannot stretch completely to him. If God decides to open up to a carnal man, such a person will curse God. As such, God is careful in stretching to men.
God knows that people will hate those who carry this message because of what people have fallen in love with. One of the trainings for blessing in the wilderness is timing. Timing is usually changed. In times of blessing, flesh needs to be provoked to fall. A people who will bless God is about to arise. They would have first received the blessing and can thereafter bless God. We must bless God with the fountains of living water and true water.
There is a season of training, which may be times of provocation or contradiction. When a well is made, flesh is dug to make space for the water to fount. God has given the grace for the earth to do everlasting life of God. One can be on earth and be better than heaven with works done in the soul. Seven churches were on earth and were doing the work on earth to be caught up.
Being on earth does not make one earthy. Jesus on earth was clothed with this frame, but He did not manifest until He died. He was careful with manifestation. There are miracles Jesus would have done. He was decked with power and anointing that would make an ordinary man break the rule of sonship. We must listen to God despite the powers and anointing we possess. We must stay within the allocation of doing the work well. We will finish the work the way He did. Amen.
Blessings!
