"For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself…" (John 5:26). The life that the Father gave to the Son is everlasting life; He gave the Son the same life that He has in Himself. The miraculous manifestations of Jesus when He was on earth were not ordinary; they were expressed from the life of the Father. Those miracles were not just the workings of the Holy Ghost; they were a witness to show that the operation of the Father could also extend to the physical.

When the Father gave the Son His life, He constructed Himself inside Him (John 14:10). In the same way, the Father can dwell in us by giving us His life. God has designed to convey this life through His word. The word is a container of the life of God; just like a seed is a container of the many properties that can eventually grow into a tree. The word can only be planted in the ground called the soul. The ground (soul) is the interpreter of what is in the seed (word). This is where the word can be broken down to release its content; and the ground will need to respond to the germination process.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. (John 12:24). This is how God emptied Himself in the ground (soul) of Jesus. He sent His word to Him in the form of a seed and Jesus was able to give it expression. What God packaged in that word is everlasting life. This is the only word that can connect a man to Eternal Life.

The Father and the Son usually find expression through the Holy Ghost. Having the Holy Ghost alone cannot give a man Eternal Life. This is because He is not designed in the Godhead to give it to us. However, the Holy Ghost can give us Eternal life by giving us both the Father and the Son.

The reason why the Word (Logos) came into flesh is so that we would not perish (John 3:16). When the Word came into flesh, He scattered and destroyed the blueprint of sin (John 1:14, ). Jesus is an eternal sacrifice. His eternal work will outlast anything everlasting. Sin is everlasting, so it will take an eternal offering to remove it. Jesus turned out to be a Being that Sin could not understand. He was raised higher than sin through the hidden wisdom of God. That was how He defeated sin. If the princes of this world had known the hidden wisdom of God, they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory (1 Cor. 2:7-8).

When God wants to give everlasting life, He gives the person of the Son. This is because the Father already built Himself (His life) in the Son. The building of the life of the Father came through words. The Son kept digesting life (through words) till the life of the Father became His own. That was the life that was talking through Jesus (John 14:10). When the life of the Father is fully formed in a man, it begins to talk.

When you come into the zone of everlasting life, you will be able to see the Father clearly. However, we must have seen Christ before we are permitted to see the Father. The Father is the Elohim who works. Anytime the Father is working, He is preaching. What the Father preaches is His name; and this name is His everlasting life. What He is preaching is His works. This means anytime He is preaching, He is working. He works by words. The Son also worked because the Father has worked out His life in Him. When Jesus is teaching, He is working. When He is obeying, He is also working. Jesus obeyed everlasting life before He started preaching. Our Lord Jesus is a doer and a preacher. This means there are two works: the works of life and the witness to the life.

What God is doing in us this season is to construct the Father in our souls. Satan hates this work being done. Nonetheless, we believe that this work will be finished in our souls.
