Unveiling the Life of Mercy (BECON PM)

Eternal Glorious Fountain Ministry (EGFM)

"And thou shalt put the mercy seat above upon the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee. And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel." (Exod. 25:21-22). The program of salvation comes from between the cherubims (Psalm 80:1). The ark in the scripture above is a wooden vessel that is overlaid with pure gold (Exod. 25:10-11), while the mercy seat is totally made of pure gold (Exod. 25:17). The ark was designed and built for the mercy seat to rest upon it.

The mercy seat can be regarded as the throne of God while the ark is the work of God. The ark is made of wood and it also has something beyond wood, which is gold. The seat of God is the mercy seat. The ark is different from this mercy seat. This is because they were not built together; they came together as a fixation to work as a single unit. The ark is regarded as the works of God while the seat is His reward. The mercy seat is God's own reward; it is where you will find God seated.

During the making of the ark, the gold is said to be upon the shittim wood both within and without. However, the wood must first be found and then carved into a shape. This is why it is a work. However, the work is not finished until the wood is overlaid with gold. This means the mercy seat that is totally made of pure gold is higher than the wood of the ark. Trees are everlasting; they are not eternal. The wood used to make the ark is a symbol of everlasting essence; and this is a dimension of the everlasting Father.

The shittim wood used for the ark grew at the border of the wilderness and the Promised Land. The River Jordan is an everlasting river; it is the last veil into the promised land. This was the river that fed the trees of the shittim wood. The river was for raising shittim wood. Shittim wood is originally an oak tree that can be seen in a place called shittim. This means it was an oak tree that was used to build the ark. The Noah's ark that saved men in the Old Testament was also made from an oak tree (Gen. 6:14). God specifically chooses the wood to carry out the job because of the program of salvation. Fruits are not gotten from oak trees; such trees are often used for building things. It is also used as a building material for a house that will endure. This says a lot about the significance of shittim wood in making the ark.

The ark is built from shittim wood (Exod. 25:10); but the mercy seat is pure gold (Exod. 25:17). The wood is lasting but that is not all. Everlasting life has stages. The wood is everlasting but has a combination of gold. Gold is an essence that comes from God's dimension. The use of gold upon the wood of the ark is so that the ark would not fade and be lasting for the seat. When the ark is overlaid with a wearing gold, it signifies the wearing of salvation, just like the bride of the lamb who has a gold covering (Ps. 45:9-11).

The mercy seat is not in the everlasting dimension; it is eternal. One cannot compare the ark made of wood that is  overlaid with gold with the mercy seat that is totally made of pure gold. We tell the karats of glory by weights. Judgement is less in weight to mercy, the same way faith is less in weight to judgement. In glory terms, the weightiest is mercy. Mercy is a weightier matter. This is why scripture says God is rich in mercy (Eph. 2:4).

What births love is mercy. To teach mercy, one needs elevation in the spirit. Such a one has to be quickened to talk about mercy. Mercy is a quickening spirit. All the rewards of God are mercy. These rewards are not physical gifts; they are types of spirits. The bread of the Eternal God is mercy food. The crystal water is a merciful drink (Rev. 22:1).

The throne of God is mercy; it is a mercy seat. What Moses saw as a pattern is a great help to access the allocation upon us. Paul also got here but said he could not speak of it particularly (Heb. 9:5). This is because it has to be by mercy to speak of such a thing. Mercy cannot be spoken of except one has received it. Mercy can give other things but not offer itself. This means we must be quickened in the spirit to obtain the mercy for Eternal Life. Eternal Life is a coagulation of the mercy that sits.

The mercy seat is the visitation and the final reward that will come upon anyone who is an overcomer. There are many rewards listed in the book of Revelation. The hidden manna and white stone are both a pair of rewards (Rev. 2:17). The tree of life is a reward (Rev. 2:7). The white raiment is a reward (Rev. 3:4-5). The rod of iron and morning star are rewards (Rev. 2:27-28). The last reward for an overcomer is to sit on the throne of God (Rev. 3:21). These rewards are all orders of spiritual things. They are merciful gifts in the spirit given to men who overcome.

“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.” (Rev. 2:11). The second death is the lake of fire. It is a reward, not a work. This means it is a reward for those who have died or done the great death (death works). The second death is also mercy; it is eternal mercy. This is another nature of the being of God. Second death is eternal death.

“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” (Revelation 21:8). Fire and brimstone connote the combination for second death. No one can survive brimstone. Brimstone is a stone that God made for those who have fully done evil works – what God hates. Brimstone would not stop; it would keep burning. This means the lake is brimstone tempered. God does not intend to purify those mentioned in Revelation 21:8; He would deal with them because they have fully done what He hates. This is because they are carriers of what God hates; they are carriers of death, posing themselves as God's enemy.

Nobody should pose himself as God's enemy because they will be destroyed. Satan felt he was special but God threw him down. This is because God is no respecter of persons. Satan is reserved for judgement because he has been demobilized. However, we need to hold the judgement chain which is the everlasting life of God for Satan to remain demobilized.

A man has to come into everlasting life before he can come into Eternal Life. A priest resembles who he worships. The realm of the Father is everlasting life while that of God is Eternal Life. God will first show His everlasting realm to a man before His Eternal dimension can rest. Eternity does not rest on emptiness; it rests on a stool called everlasting life. Mercy operates differently from love. Love is judgement.

“Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” ‭‭(2 Corin. ‭3:17‬). Love or judgement is not about trying to apportion blame on anyone; it sets free. Real judgement is liberty. The liberty of the sons of God from corruption is the manifestation of the glory of God. When judgement is expressed, perfect liberty is being given. There are two liberties: the first one is from sin and the other one is from iniquity (Rom. 6:18-19). This must happen for a man to obtain mercy.

A man who has obtained mercy will have a large heart. When the heart of a man is not large enough, it means he has not obtained mercy. Jesus can feel what people feel. When people are too righteous according to the definition of the earth, they would not be compassionate with people. For example, the righteousness of the Pharisees is a killer. As such, it cannot save anyone. A righteous man is typified in Jesus. We see the way Jesus reacted to sin with the woman caught in the act of adultery and the adulterous woman who kissed His feet (John 8:4-7; Luke 7:37-39). If Jesus was not a merciful vessel, He would have cast away the sinners that came to him. A heart that is not merciful enough cannot be a saviour.

“To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” (2 Corin. 5:19). The word of reconciliation is the ministry of everlasting life, which should make one the righteousness of God.

What can resolve and take our sin is the glory of God. We  should have enough love to dissipate sin. To save a sinner sometimes, one needs to endure such a one. However, some sinners we see these days can only be handled by the Lord. Some sinners should not be condoned; they can destroy the church, just like the one who slept with his father's wife (1 Cor. 5:1). Heaven has to deal with such fellows because they will corrupt everywhere.

As we grow in the ministry of righteousness, we become one who perpetuates everlasting life and releases the glory of God. God would give us the ability to deal with sin. It is a great testimony that we are making progress in righteousness for sin to be defeated. It is good that we are dropping our sin loads.

Jesus succeeded with eleven persons while He was on earth. This means souls are not ordinary. Many evil spirits hanged around Judas to buffet Jesus. Iniquity breaks a pastor’s heart. Brokenness makes up a shepherd’s heart. One has to be broken and soft to carry mercy. If we are not soft enough to love, we cannot handle mercy.

“The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. [19] He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them. [20] The Lord preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.” (Psalm 146:18-20). The set of men highlighted here are everlasting men. Work saves; rewards eternally save. Eternal life is a quick salvation. It is a quick teaching that is communicated quickly. It is a season of quickening because Eternal Life is a quick work. This will happen quickly because the bringer comes quickly (Rev. 22:12). Without works however, we will not be able to see Him quickly. Elijah told Elisha he must see him to receive the mantle (2 Kings 2:10). The mantle is tied to being seen at the terrific speed in which the prophet would be caught away.

Elisha had to be helped not to miss the catching up; mercy was granted for him to see Elijah. He also saw beyond Elijah; he saw the chariots that made Him utter words (2 Kings 2:12). He saw someone in a quickened state. The quickened state is the actual better state. There cannot be reward except God is seen quickly. As we see Him, eternal things come to us. The eternal reward would come to us through Him.

We must thank God that we were properly guided to where we are right now. Many things would never be the same again. Things are changing because many things will happen. Change will surely occur. There would be a change of raiments/garments of our souls this season. We would be dealt with bountifully and mercifully.

We must receive the heart for eternal things, just like the heart of flesh is for to receive everlasting things. Our hearts must be glorious for the glory that excelleth, which is eternal glory. We must be awakened like the churches who slept. This is because we must finish our work. We must fulfil the perfect will and stay in patience; and in patience, the reward will be ours.

Blessings!
