God is unleashing and releasing emissaries who have in the past kept things. God gave them things to keep, and these things are known only by He who has them. However, the time has come for those things to be ministered. There are angels of inheritance who keep what God gave them to keep. These are the highest class of angels whom God blessed with a reward.
Lucifer was an angel of reward. There is a difference between reward and works. The Bible spoke concerning the workmanship of Lucifer's tabrets and how they were prepared on the day that he was made (Ezek. 28:13-14). All angels were made according to a book or program; they were made according to what God intended to make of them. These angels were part of the heavenly creations in Genesis.
The creations of Genesis are the “first creation” (Gen. 1:1). The “new creation” started between the end of the gospels and the book of Acts. Jesus was raised from the dead at the end of the synoptic gospels, and He is the pattern specimen of a new species of people. When God raised Jesus, He made Him new all through. Jesus' spirit, soul and body are new; He is the New Man of another order of creation.
The first creation has a spiritual establishment in the spirit; but when you go into the spirit right now, this creation has already passed away. However, there is a new creation that has not yet appeared. This is because the “new creation” is the reverse order of the “first creation”. In the first creation, God first made habitations before He put the species who would inhabit them. He first made the heavens and earth, then He put angels in the heavens and man on the earth. This means the order of the first creation is that the habitation comes first and the inhabitants come last; but in the new creation, the inhabitants (men whom God will mature on earth) will come first and the habitation will come last.
The fact that the inhabitants of the world to come has appeared tells us that the habitation must come to pass. The word "old" in old creation does not mean ancient; another word for the old creation is the “withering creation". This means it is a creation that is passing away. The phrase "Old things are passed away" seen in 2 Corinthians 5:17 means there are no old things in the spirit. God cannot catch old things. However, human beings still hold on to it. The Almighty God has changed the substances He is dealing with right now; He is handling new things. This present is no longer in God's hands.
“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.” (Revelation 2:17). We see in this scripture that one of the rewards for every overcomer is the hidden manna. The hidden manna has an affiliation with the stone. You cannot be given the stone without being given the manna, and you cannot be given the manna without being given the stone. This is because they come together -- the manna and the stone complement each other. These are the teachings of rewards; they are not the teachings of works (what to do). We are being taught what will be placed in us that we will not do anything to get, such that only mercy will make it possible after we have done the works required of us. This means you must first finish a school, a class or a course as seen in the first verses of the letter written to each of the churches in the book of Revelation.
“Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks…” (Revelation 2:1). The seven stars are stars of works. The position of the seven stars are in the Lord's hand; but right at His feet are the golden stand. He is walking in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks. His feet are in touch with the candles and His hands are in grasp of the stars. The activity of His feet is a walk while the activity of His hands is a work. This means the place of His walk is where the candle stands are, while the operation of His works is where the stars are positioned. This simply tells us that if you pass the obedience of His walk, you will come into His hands. The hand is the harvest of works. Another word for stars is a fruit of work. When you say someone is fruitful, he has become a star. On the other hand, candles are trees. Stars are fruits of the tree. Every church that will walk well will bear fruit. Works are fruits of walk. This walk pertains to walking worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing (Col. 1:9-10).
“Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give that person a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to the one who receives it.” (Revelation 2:17). God desires to put something He calls “white stone” in man. Inside this stone is a name which no man knows. If God can give Holy Ghost out to live inside a man, this one would come just the same way. The word of reward will open the faculty of those who has it, so that they can interact with things at a high pedigree. If God has come to distribute the rewards of white stone and hidden manner, it means each person would have a name. Such people will be unable to tell the name of another no matter how close they might be to each other. The reward cannot be shared with each other because it is shared with a customised name, which is the name of the bearer. The bearer is customized to fit into the name. Those who are rewarded are not the only ones like this; the one who gives the reward is also of this nature (Rev.19:11).
The dimension of God is a terrific dimension; it is a realm where one knows some things that are unknown to another person. It was only Jesus that had the manna apart from God. Angels are only able to minister these things because God gave them things like this in an inferior manner. When they are ministering to men, they are only ministering themselves to us; but we are receiving substances from God. Angels also think they are ministering themselves to us because the substances are hidden to them – they cannot break into that order. It is possible that when they are saying these things, they will think they are saying their things. However, all they are saying is what God did in them; but God is doing a superior work in us.
The hidden manner in an angel is not the same with the hidden manner that we receive from God. It is the hidden manner in Jesus that we will receive; He is a full package because He is both the works and the reward. He is the one who will shine light on how to please God and do the works of God. When we have finished the work, He will give the reward. This is why he has the ability to judge when a work is well done. A doer of the work must hear "well done, my faithful servant, enter into the Joy of the Lord (Matthew 25:23). Entering into the Joy of the Lord is not about the picture of God rewarding you after death; it is an entrance into glory that we should receive here on earth. Jesus changed and entered into joy when He was here on earth, so the same is expected of us.
Jesus's reward is with Him. This means He can decide not to release it. However, Jesus will only give the reward to a man who has a particular sight. A man who will get the reward of God must seek it and also do the works that will make him qualify for it. You must have eyes for the reward. Elisha followed Elijah, and that was the works that qualified him for the reward he received. In order for the reward to be given, Elijah told him that he will receive a double portion of his anointing if he sees him when he is being taken (2 Kings 2:9-13). Elijah knew that something must have happened to Elisha by mercy if he would see him. He used the word "if" because there's a speed with which Elijah would be taken that no natural eye would be able to sight him. And indeed mercy was shown to Elisha to see Elijah and a reward of double portion of Elijah's anointing was given to him. This means after you must have done works, you still need a sight to get the reward. Once the sight is given to you, you have received the reward. In like manner, you must have done the works that will position you for the sight that will deliver Jesus's reward to you.
"And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be." (Revelation 22:12). There is a way Jesus used to come for the purpose of works to be done; but for the reward to be given, he must "come quickly". However, His works must have been finished in you before He can come quickly to reward you. Works and reward are both going to be given by light (understanding). This means understanding in the realm of the spirit is a high commodity. The light that surrounds the giving of the reward is a faster light than the light that delivers the revelation of works. When jesus said He will give the hidden manna which no man knows, It means there's a light guiding it. The light attached to the hidden manna is the light in the white stone (Rev. 2:17). This light is a name, and this name is an understanding -- how a man sees. Many of us are still not seeing rightly, that is why we fall for some temptations. There is a way many of us still seek for glory because we still have the nature of man; but God’s glory is found in concealing a matter and keeping it hidden (Prov. 25:2).
Works vary in strength. A man cannot overcome the way Jesus did. God packaged the programme for everyone and He arranged levels (Heb. 8:11). Also in works, there is a least to the greatest. There are different order of works that informs different names, so the reward is not also the same. Six people can be from a family of reward (Rev. 22:12). If every man keeps the Lord's work to the end, they may not have the same reward. There is a hierarchy in the ranks of the rewarded ones. What has moved God to find you is so that you to sit on the throne. The power guiding us is unseen and it's the Lord's. Amen.
