ANAMNESIS 2023 DAY 1 EVENING SESSION REV. KAYODE OYEGOKE

Programme: Anamnesis 2023 (Day 1 - Evening Session)

Date: Wednesday, 6th December 2023

There are influences and spiritual impartations that the coming of the Lord will bring to us; this is because there is a blessing in the presence of God. Anytime the Lord comes according to scriptures, He comes with things. The Lord will build the reality of His presence amidst us. Our love for precepts is there to culture us to receive the ministry of the Son of God.

God wants us to grow in the fear of the Lord for the sake of the ministry of the Son of God. Each wearing of the appearance of the Lord that we will come into must be accompanied with fear. Thus, the Lord will teach us how to benefit from His presence; He will train us on how to reap the harvest of His consistent change. This is because the Lord is loaded with wearings.

The Lord wants to share His wearing with His brethren. As such, He will begin to unveil Himself until we see Him as He is (1 John 3:2).

“Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.” (1 John‬ 3‬:2‬). We cannot be like Him in just one meeting. The word “appear” speaks of many appearances of the Lord. It is after He has fully appeared that the image of His person will become clear, and then we will see Him as He is. This tells us that we also need to appear. He is not the only one who will appear, we will also appear.

“When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.” (Col. 3‬:4‬). It means that His appearance will unveil us. This is the power that Jesus saddles; it is the power of making us appear.

“Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.” (1 John‬ 3‬:1‬). The word “bestowed” is not a verbal cliché, rather, it is a power; it is an allocation of commendation on us. The word “Son of God” here is a person who has both the Father and the Son, and He will come to us gradually with appearance.

We are currently sons of God in a measure. Sons who have not appeared are those who have not finished sonship. One can be a son of God but still be hidden. The fullness of sonship is still a promise to such a son. It will take a power (appearance) to bring this fullness of sonship to pass.

The word “appear” is also known as “manifestation”. There must be a manifestation of the Son of God before there can be a manifestation of the sons of God (Rom. 8:19)

“For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.” (Rom. 8‬:19‬). This cannot come about, except the Son of God appears to some. Precept alone cannot make one a son of God. One can be a son of knowledge, but not a son of appearance or power. The presence of Jesus comes with some bitter materials. The bitterness tells us that He is a being of weight and what He carries ought to make us sober.

There is a learning of the knowledge of Him. To know Him is different from having His knowledge. We cannot know Him unless He is present. This is why He comes.

“Thou wilt shew me the path of life: In thy presence is fulness of joy; At thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” (Psa.‬ 16‬:11‬). The Lord got angry with the seven churches in the book of Revelation because they were in His presence and were sinning (Rev. 2). The seven stars are persons of pleasure. The right hand is not the right hand of God, but the right hand of the Father or the right hand in presence. The right hand is the collection of beings who have reached the fullness of joy and have now moved to the right hand. This is because those who get to the right hand cannot be plucked out. That is why it is a place of pleasure.

The right hand is the place of the pleasure of the Lord. What gives pleasure is that one is joyful when such breaks through presence. When one gets to the right hand, such has escaped into a different strength. All we need to do is to get to His right hand. The Lord was not angry with the stars of the churches.

“Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent” (Rev. 2:5‬). His coming quickly in this scripture is not to reward, but to take away the golden candlestick. The removal of the candlesticks shows that certain churches that are absorbed into presence can still stop work. When work is no longer being done by a person who has been brought into presence, the candlestick of such a person will be removed.

To have one’s candlestick removed is to be cast out of presence. If we are not doing what He expects us to do, He will cast us out. It means that we should not offend presence. We are enrolled into presence for the purpose of appearing. God should be seeing us appearing or changing. To appear is to gain access to each revelation or manifestation of the person of Jesus.

Each revelation of the person of Jesus is loaded in His appearing to churches of presence. The Lord wants us to know where we have gotten to; He no longer sees us as an ordinary church. Thus, we should not mix anything with the expectation that is expected of us. This is because we have come into a zone of fear or a place of appearing. What will trigger appearance is Himself. We first see Him so we can then know Him.

“That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; [11] if by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.” (Philipp. 3‬:10‬-11‬). The attainment of the resurrection of the dead is tied to Him and the power that raised Him. In Revelation 1, He was introduced as the Prince of the kings of the earth, the first begotten of the dead (Rev 1:5). The kings of the earth are not the ones Revelation 21 talked about, but men who have partaken in the resurrection of the dead.

To attain the resurrection of the dead is to be a son of God. Jesus wrote letters for the seven stars to give to the churches (Rev. 1‬:10‬-11‬). The candlesticks were the ones with misconducts, but their stars were already in the Lord’s hand which no one could pluck out (Rev. 1:20).

“Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.” (Isa. 49‬:16‬). Jesus held the seven stars in His palms. Palm signifies face; they were in the place of the face of His hand. This is where the Lord wants us to get to. The candlesticks signify the season of works; it is the place of His feet. This is why He walks amid the seven golden candlesticks – to reap stars.

It is from the candlesticks that stars are born. Those who have finished their course of work in the sticks get to the Lord’s right hand, which is a garner for Eternal Life. That is where harvesting takes place. It is with the hand that harvest is carried out. The Lord will use His sickle to harvest from the churches. Angels are a harvest of churches.

The result of work is the harvest of the hand. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning (Psa. 30:5). Stars are sheaves of everlasting life in the hand of the Lord. The Lord wants to make us stars. The woman in the book of Revelation was a candlestick that gave birth to stars (Rev. 12). No candlestick can sit on the throne.

“And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.” (Rev.‬ 1‬:15‬). The feet are burning because it is a furnace to heat up the candle sticks; this is so that they can melt for stars to come out. It burns off things that will fight the course of sonship or everlasting. The feet are also the feet of presence. Furnace here is not a physical fire; it is a measure of suffering for the sticks to bring the seven golden candlesticks into a measure of works. This is because they are working as He is walking. This is why it will take feet to deal with the devil, not hands.

Our feet should stand on Zion. The devil (then Lucifer) had worked with his legs on Zion. Lucifer was walking up and down to trigger work amidst the seraphims. His legs ignite wisdom for work. Those on Zion are professionals who have beaten the devil right on Zion. Those who will minister to Zion must be upon the mountain.

“And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. [4] Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.” (1 John‬ 3‬:3‬-4‬). To fight the devil is a soul-training. Everlasting life will not get to us while God is still pampering us, for we must war to get the life. Everlasting life comes to us when we move against the opposition of the life.

“And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.” (1 John 3:5). The season when the Lord wants to take away our sins is the time when some will commit to sin. The reason Jesus will come is to take away our sins.

“Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.” (1 John‬ 3‬:6‬). To sin here is to transgress the law; the law is to become the son of God. When we transgress or break the law, we become another person’s son.

“And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.” (1 John‬ 3‬:23‬). To believe here is not referring to the process of being born again. We believe in the Son of God to get born again, but to become a son of God, one must believe on the Son of God. Such who believes on the Son of God wants the full stature of the Son. The stature of the Son of God is the work. When we stop working, we will not love one another. One who is of the evil one will hate his brother (1 John‬ 3‬:10‬-12‬)

God gave Adam a book to generate sons for Him. The sons of Adam became sons of God by living. In Genesis 6, the sons of God stopped working because Satan raised daughters to stop the work. God was striving with the sons of God because they had stopped working. Works of Satan can read the path of sons of God; the daughters of men had so much work in them that they knew how to scheme for the sons of God to stop working for God.

The love of the brethren is higher than charity; it is an everlasting love called the unfeigned love of the brethren. Loving fervently is the charity that brings us into the unfeigned love of the brethren. One who can do the unfeigned love can also love God. We love God by believing on the name of the Son of God.

To believe here means to do the works of God. Our belief system is a response to the high love of God. Those who do not believe on the name of the Son of God are condemned already because they believe something else. What we believe is what we love. The instruction of faith is to exhibit our passion for the work of God to be done in us. We are co-workers with God, and we should not stop the work because Jesus never stopped the work.

Our Lord Jesus finished the work that the Father gave to Him. This was how He glorified the Father. High honour is to respond to becoming sons of God. The sons of God are those that do the Lord that appears.

Ministry has changed on earth because Jesus is on the earth and He is the work that should be done. His coming is to tell us to do Him. Jesus will teach and impart us so that we will stop sinning. Some people say that it is not possible to stop sinning, but sin can be removed and what will stop sin is the coming of Jesus. Jesus has to appear and teach us what to do to stop sinning completely.

Sin is the breaking of the law of becoming a son of God. Satan broke the law of becoming a son of the morning. Satan was also a son of God in a measure. He did not become a son by birthing, but he was made a son (Ezek 28:14). Angels had some kind of sonship, but he altered his nature; this alteration was sin. Satan can also teach men to do the same thing he did in the beginning. The essence of this is to completely cut man off from God so he (Satan) can own such. To be destroyed is to become Satan’s son (John 10:10), but the appearance of our Lord Jesus is to break the genetic code of sin.

To be righteous is to become a son of God. When one becomes a son of God, he will love his brother. Our prayer should not just be to be able to love our brother but to do the work; this is because this is how we can love our brother.

We cannot become sons of God by reading letters, rather, He has to give power to us to become. Jesus is around again, and we will sense and feel Him more. His words will be heavier and weightier so we can translate to becoming like Him. We should not be satisfied because we have spiritual gifts, or because of the activities happening around us.

Blessings!
