Eternal Glorious Fountain Ministry (EGFM)
Programme: Believers' Convention 2022 (Day 2 – Morning Session)
Date: Monday, 8th August 2022
We can plan programs (even christian programs) which may not be validated by God and may be contradictory to the agenda of God. All ministers must know that God has His plan for the individual churches and the general Church. Many times, we miss it because we do not follow the plan of God, even with the management and administration of time.
The devil is interested in our service, as he wants it to be of low quality so that it will fall short of God’s expectation and not give glory to His name. The quality of service given to God is dependent on the amount of life in the spirit one has amassed. Many have defiled the altar of service by allowing activities that are not worthy in the church. Many ministers are more concerned about fame, money and power than the sheep.
Evil spirits feed on the Church because it is not strong; this is because the Church is being led after the pattern of Satan. The heart and minds of ministers should be well tuned to God. Many call themselves pastors but are business men. Hence, the reason they would not allow the manner and outflow of the Spirit in equipping the Church. Such ministers run church like corporate organisations, which limits the operations of the Spirit.
Many ministers think the vision of God is money, but on the contrary, vision is to carry out the will and agenda of God. Many think the vision of God cannot work without money but that is false. Money is not the chariot of the gospel, as the gospel can carry itself. The gospel is the power of God unto salvation (Rom. 1:16). Ministers must be malleable to yield to how the Lord would intend to drive every service and not quench the Spirit (1 Thess. 5:19).
Angels are set to help us in every facet of ministry (Heb. 1:14); they are sent from Jesus to help us. In the last days, angels will not just minister alone to the Church, but will also minister with the men (ministers that have been raised). Ministers and more believers should desire to be numbered amongst the company of the army of God.
The discipline of the word and the spirit are not difficult but the Church is ignorant. Therefore, the Church must learn to walk in the spirit. The essence of walking in the spirit is to join forces with heaven, acting according to the leading of the forces of heavens. When they move, we should move! When they speak, we should speak! When they stop, we should stop!
“Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.” (Jude 1:9). We should learn not to speak against dignitaries. Angels of God do not disregard dignitaries. Even with the high stature, the archangel Michael had, he did not confront the devil; he did not respond back to the accusations made by the devil.
The devil brought accusations against Moses’ body. The devil is known as the accuser of the brethren (Rev. 12:10) and in his confrontation with Michael over the body of Moses, he must have accused both Moses and Michael. However, Michael did not respond to him unseemly. Michael's ministry has a link to our bodies; his voice will cause the corruptible to inherit incorruption and mortality to inherit immortality (1 Cor. 15:53).
“And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.” (Matt. 17:3). Jesus is a holy Man. Elijah was also a holy man; he was an olive tree like Moses was. God's intention for Moses was for him not to physically die, but Satan warred with him to make mistakes. Moses and Elijah came to minister to Jesus on the mount of configuration, talking to Him about things of His death.
Jesus' intentions for ministry is beyond the earthly sphere. Jesus was looking for the ministry of heaven. He used His earthly sojourn to gain a better resurrection. The ministry of Jesus went beyond the earth into the heavens. Heaven is a place of continuity. Satan was also in the wilderness and used the Israelites to war against Moses, that he would fall short of being an olive tree, who would stand as a witness before the God of the whole earth.
An olive tree is a witness. Ministry does not end on the earth, as ministry transcends into heaven. Jesus did not stop His ministry on the earth. After His death, He resurrected and continued His ministry. All ministers must have courage to fight and war so that their ministry is not cut short.
Jesus is a Minister of the Sanctuary and of the true tabernacle (Heb. 8:2) which the Father pitched. The tabernacle is not earthly, so it is different from the tabernacle of congregation that Moses pitched. The Father pitched a tabernacle with measurements that connotes expectations of obedience. When the Father is measuring numbers, He is measuring obedience and expects that those obediences are fulfilled.
Jesus modelled Himself after the tabernacle that the Father pitched. He saw the tabernacle He was to be formed into which made Him fashion Himself according to obedience. The dimensions and pattern of the sanctuary and tabernacle are the expectations of God for men. God would not receive us to Himself if we do not allow ourselves to be raised after the pattern Jesus conformed to.
God wants everyone under the New Testament dispensation to enter into the sanctuary and come into the true tabernacle the Lord has pitched. The essence of the tabernacle is to raise sons. As such, when sons have been raised and trained, the tabernacle has fulfilled its essence. Jesus lived out all the expectations of the tabernacle the Father pitched.
“[34] Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.” (John 4:34). To finish the work is to enter into the Holy of Holies. The expectation of Jesus is for men to enter into heaven. In the dispensation of the New Testament, we enter into the tabernacle by obedience to God. As we obey God, we come into the tabernacle.
Eden was a true tabernacle; it was a Holy of Holies. Adam was made in the Holy of Holies; he was made and put in the highest dimension. As such, the presence of God which is in the Holy of Holies was not far from him.
“And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings.” (Luke 1:19). The angel Gabriel came from the Holy of Holies to minister to Zechariah, who was a priest of the sanctuary. The angel Gabriel stands in the presence of God. This means that he carries the presence of God anywhere he goes. Angels came into that respective stature without spiritual growth, as they were made so (Ezek. 28:14) but man needs to grow to come into statures in the spirit.
An angel (cherub) of presence, Lucifer, is still the problem of the Church, even though he has been destroyed. We must overcome this angel who left presence. Satan taught Cain to leave the presence of God (Gen. 4:16), He also taught Nimrod to turn away from presence who then hunted other men, and also took them out of the presence of God (Gen. 10:8-10). When one hates presence, such a person would leave presence. We have been led out of the presence of God (Isa. 53:6) and we need to be led back to God.
Man went far from God (Rom. 3:10-12). The New Birth does not confer the presence of God on anyone; it is those who have become priests that can advance to the presence of God. Spiritual babies (immature christians) have their tabernacle which is governed by the Holy Ghost. The New Birth only leads to the presence of God, but we must grow spiritually. Babies do not have reverence for God. The reason why many do ministry like any other vocation is as a result of irreverence and because they are ignorant and out of the way (Heb. 5:2).
The book of Genesis is not about the fall alone but a journey of men out of the presence of God. Satan fought men from the generation of Seth (Gen. 4:25-26). The children of Seth were many but only Noah stayed with God. Many men in that season turned away from the presence of God. The reason for the flood was to save souls because the intention of Satan was to wipe out the name of God totally.
God had to rescue the remaining souls so that the name of God in the earth is not wiped away. God did not expect Noah alone, He wanted to save many men. Instead of men entering into the ark, they disobeyed.
The ark is to prepare us for our return to the presence of God. We need to go back to the presence of God. We must take conscious steps to ascend. In the days of our flesh, we must measure up to be raised in the pattern of the tabernacle that God has pitched. We must obey till we can enter into the sanctuary and the true tabernacle. The sanctuary is the Holy Place. The tabernacle is a call to come into the presence of God. The major essence of the tabernacle is to convert the wrong formations in the soul (Rom. 12:2).
This world is a trap to prevent us from getting back to God. The formation of Christ would not just take place in one day, as it would take travails. The formation of the world in men will make God refuse men. Our response to the call into the presence of God is not according to the pattern of the Old Testament. We are not to pattern ourselves according to Moses’ order, for it is Jesus’ we should conform to.
Satan wants to cut men down, for he does not want anyone to grow up. Satan would always be found in the company of men that are seeking the presence of God to bring them down. Satan does not want God to rejoice over anyone, so he seeks to cut God's joy down. When we see men dishonouring authority in the church, they are behaving just like Satan. Satan was the first to break out of God's church; he took men away from the sanctuary and the first heaven. So, when we see men break away in a similar manner, we see the nature of Satan.
Satan feeds souls to make them act unreasonably. Many men are arising to usurp authority against spiritual fathers and this desire is enforced by the devil. Satan possesses men to torment the fathers of the body; he bargains with men’s hearts and gives them reasons they should be his footstool and do his bidding. Many go into ministry because they want to shine and this thought is from the fallen morning star.
God knew the intentions of Satan and kept them from men; he let the godly angels minister to men and carry out the father's bidding. Ministry is not all about earth. As such, ministers should do well here on earth so that they would lay up treasures for themselves (Matt. 6:19-20). Jesus did not go to the throne for Himself, rather, all He did was to show men how to arrive at their destiny.
There is no destiny like the destiny embedded in the gospel, for there is nothing that can equate to the promises of God. If we labour so much for the corruptible crown, we should be more diligent to labour for the incorruptible crown (1 Cor. 9:25). To inherit the incorruptible, one has to yield to the process of change, for the crown is the seal of our change.
Many are already having crowns of peace and crowns of love. It is difficult for many to have malice with one another. Envy are also members within us that must be overcome. God does not want any filthiness of the flesh or spirit within us (2 Cor. 7:1). As such, both must be done away with.
These filthiness of the flesh and the spirit are the things that destroy ministries. The church should not be a tool of competition, as we are not called for a show. Rather, we are to make ourselves presentable before God (Eph. 5:27). Ministers must have stature and not be pulled by numbers, as population is not a sign of growth.
We must not compete with one another. We would not see angels jealous of each other's salvation. One of the natures of the Trinity is that They do not look at themselves, for They are pure and content. God wants pure worship. The Trinity do not seek their own; it is the reason they can condescend to have a relationship with creation.
The archangel is an angel of the human body (1 Thess. 4:16-17). He contended for the body of Moses, which is why Moses could appear on the mount of transfiguration with Jesus and Elijah (Matt. 17:1-3). Ministry is going on in the heavens; Jesus is doing ministry and giving instructions of how things should be administered to the body. If ministry is alive in the heavens, then we should align.
We need light to illuminate us so that we can be delivered from the ignorance we have about sin and iniquity. There are wrong teachings of grace going about which are false. However, grace is beyond pardon, it is the supply of strength to break sin. When we receive grace, we receive the ability to break the hold of sin.
We need to receive the ministrations of grace so that we can break his claim. Satan can lay claim on many because they are ignorant. Ignorance is a graveyard; Satan does not want anyone to know. When we come to God, we receive light and then we begin to understand that perfection is possible. Perfection might seem impossible by our strength but when we align on the side of God, we receive the help of God that it is possible.
The basic understanding to nullify sin is to understand that there is nothing here on earth. We must understand that we would not take anything out of the earth. We must know that our conversation is in heaven and who God wants us to look like is in heaven.
Blessings!
