Being Obedient to the Words of Salvation (SOS)

The reason for the speakings, for the revelations coming our way, is for salvation. God wants to save men. God who is seated on the throne is called salvation; everything about Him is salvation. The Lamb of God is saved to the uttermost. The Lamb has been saved and perfected forever. What consecrated our Lord Jesus forever is words. These words are the word of oath.

“For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore” (Hebrews‬ ‭7:28‬). Word framed our Lord Jesus and made Him qualified to sit on the throne. The throne is the operational place for salvation. It is the place for the administration of salvation. God’s desire for us is salvation.

“To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne” (‭‭Revelation‬ ‭3:21‬). The promise of God and His desire for us is that we come to sit with Him in His throne. However; we cannot sit with the Father on the throne except we have become what He became. God is salvation. God wrought salvation in our Lord Jesus and that’s why He is seated with Him on the throne. The reason for all that the Lord is saying to us is salvation.

“But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, Until I make thine enemies thy footstool?” ‭(Hebrews‬ ‭1:13). There are different kinds of angels, but our Lord Jesus was only compared with two classes of angels – flaming fires and spirits. There are many angels that minister to our carnal or everyday needs but when it comes to salvation, there are kinds of angels that can minister it. The reason we are having the activities of angels we are experiencing is because of the words of salvation that are coming to us.

The words that God is speaking to us by His Son are words of everlasting life. They are words that are meant to save us. This is the speaking of the Son of God. The book of Hebrew is the book of the high priests; it’s the book of salvation. It’s for the purpose of saving men, and the high priest only saves by words. The words that are being spoken over us are the words that made the High Priest up.

“And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron. So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, To day have I begotten thee” (‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭5:4-5‬). This tells us that a High Priest is a Son. “As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever After the order of Melchisedec” ‭‭(Hebrews‬ ‭5:6‬).

God is speaking the substances He used to frame or raise the High Priest. Raising determines one’s nearness; it is one’s ascension. As a man grows, he is ascending to God. It is the soul that ascends and we ascend by commandments. A man cannot go up except he has what to do and obey. It is as a man obeys that he goes up. When a man keeps hearing and does not obey, he will remain down.

By ascension, building or spiritual stature, the High Priest was able to split the veil of the Most Holy open. Ascension is building. Our Lord Jesus entered into heavens for us so that He can bring us in. Our Lord Jesus is speaking to us by His Son, whom He has appointed as heir of all things. All things here are things that were used to frame the High Priest or the Son. The Son is a custodian of things of God. He is the keeper of good things to come. The things of the world to come were ministered to Him and He obeyed them to become who He is.

These speakings are speakings of everlasting life or of salvation. These angels are sent forth to minister to them who will inherit the salvation that is in the Son. Angels are not heirs of the things of salvation but they can minister them. God did not give them the things of salvation into their being, else, they would have been sitting on the throne with God.

The substances that framed these angels are inferior to the substances that framed our Lord Jesus. This is why they cannot sit on the throne. But the substances they are framed up with are holy enough to make them carry the substances of salvation and minister them to heirs of salvation. The Bible referred to angels as those who are greater in authority than men.

The kind of salvation that these angels are ministering to man is the kind that our Lord Jesus came into. However, these angels don’t despise us. They are not even envious of us becoming better than them. There is a way man is framed which makes us not diligent in obeying, if we were the ones sent on such an assignment. We may delay or not minister it well because we don’t want another person to be better than us.

Angels don’t have such conversations because they were framed with substances that are holy, though inferior. It is Satan that brought the conversation of always wanting to be ahead or better than others. We often become uncomfortable when we see others better than us. Actually, the things that make us seemingly look better than others are vain, and they will pass away. The reason for competition is vanity but our validation is Eternal Life. The competition in life should motivate us to go lower than our brother. What gives us an edge is in our ascension in the spirit and this is what we should be particular about.

We should kill those tendencies to compete with those who are working by the Spirit of God or graced to do a thing. We will weary ourselves out to do such things because the other person who is doing it is not struggling to achieve it. It is the seed of Satan in man that makes us compete for things that are vain. Some things that we use all our strength to achieve just to be able to compete with others may not even be what God has called us to. It might not be the path that God wants us to take, so we go out of course. The person we are competing with is working by grace, effortlessly. We should kill vain glory in us.

God wants to save us from useless things, things that are death programmed by Satan. We should rather align and become little. That is how we become better. The more little a man is, the better he is. Such a man is delivering himself from the hand of Satan.

“Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, That do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word” ‭‭(Psalm‬ ‭103:20‬). The job of angels in ministering to heirs of salvation is hearkening. What rules or controls angels is the voice of God’s word. These are the beings that heaven is calling us to become better than or to judge. We should begin to cultivate the habit of being ruled by God’s word. No matter what the devil suggests to us, we should not buy it; we should rather tell him what the Lord has said.

“Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip” (‭‭Heb‬ ‭2:1‬). ‭Tascension that God brings to us slip easily. This is because we don’t give ‘the more’ earnest heed to it. Even those words that come to us by encounter can slip easily when we don’t give an earnest heed to it.

“How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him” (Heb ‭2:3).‬ The project of God for the end time is salvation. If revelation is not translating to salvation, it’s not achieving its purpose. Whenever we hear revelation, and have understanding of it, we are expected to obey it and thereby, change. Every word that our Lord Jesus is speaking to us is for salvation, not for excitement or any other thing. It is to make us saved as our Lord is saved. A man cannot be saved from death if he does not obey certain things. When God wants to save a man, He ministers words of life for him to obey (Heb‬ ‭5:7)‬.

Salvation is the key thing that must be  given attention to for angels to be comfortable in our midst. These angels are not lawless beings. They are orderly beings. Angels are not comfortable in a home where there is always quarrels. Sometimes, disagreements can lead to heated arguments. To avoid that, we should take the fall, take the blame. Apology should be in the mouth of everyone in this company. We should know how to say sorry even when we are not the one who is wrong. This will chase the devil very far. Strife and argument is the work of Satan; he always wants to disrupt our atmosphere. If husband and wives are not careful, they will drive away angels from the home. The devil wants evil spirits to occupy the house instead of angels.

God has to culture people before they begin to bring visitations of angels. Angels help us with day to day protection, but the Bible instructs wives to stay under authority for that activity to continue. When a man wants to stand in his right, he drives away angels. The kind of angels we are entertaining now are angels that bring salvation. One thing about the angelic realm is order. To make angels comfortable in our midst, salvation must be going on. People must learn how to be orderly and not to break rank. Angels don’t tolerate things like that. We saw how orderly angels are when Michael went to contend with Satan over the body of Moses. They don’t talk down on dignitaries, including the fallen one (Jude‬ ‭1:9‬).‬‬

Husbands, wives and brethren should also be careful of railing accusations. Satan’s pomp is to bring accusations against one another. When Satan wants to rob or cheat us, he will make us begin to see negatives in the person we are supposed to be under. This is so that we can bring railing accusations against them. This is how we are robbed of the ministration of angels.

The devil will want to rob us to disqualify us from these ministrations. We can hear them but we won’t profit with them when we are disorderly. The devil likes to rob us a lot, and he will speak to our heart about things that do not exist, against the person we are supposed to submit to. This is so that we can bring railing accusations against them. This is something that angels don’t do. They see it as an abomination, and so they won’t stay in such places.

The Devil tells us that the person we are supposed to submit to is not good, and when we accept such, we will inevitably look down on them. Young people should understand these things. They should not talk down on people who are supposed to be above them. When we habitually do that, we won’t be able to gain entrance into the body because there is already a lot of disorderliness. Anointing is not a license to talk down on others. No matter how anointed one is, he should not rebuke elders or those he is supposed to submit under; he should entreat them. We should be wise. The terrain we have come to is a very fearful place, because Satan’s activities have been heightened. This is why we must also be vigilant.

We should avoid whatever will make us talk anyhow to someone that’s supposed to be above us. It is better not to talk and let things go. Correcting an elder will not change anything, rather it will expose us wrongly. There are things we do that expose us wrongly. We should entreat elders not rebuke them, because we are not their Lord. Entreating elders is in the epistles.

When some people want to break scriptures, they claim that some commandments are the Old Testament and not the New Testament. However, the New Testament is also laws. If we cannot obey laws, we cannot come to the promises. The promises of God are tied to the covenant. Heirs of everlasting life are those who will obey laws. Covenants are made when laws are given and obeyed.

“For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel After those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, And write them in their hearts: And I will be to them a God, And they shall be to me a people” (Heb‬ ‭8:10)‬. The new covenant has its laws. There is no covenant without laws. When a covenant is drawn, the promises follow (‭‭Heb‬ ‭8:6)‬. The promise we have is the promise of inheriting everlasting life. This promise cannot be actualised except the laws that govern salvation are ministered to us.

(Hebrews‬ ‭8:8-9)‬ God will not regard us for salvation if we don’t continue in the laws. A people can be disregarded when they don’t take heed to the laws of God. God doesn’t regard us because of our face, He regards those who tremble at his laws (‭‭Isa‬ ‭66:2).‬ What makes God to look at us or to regard us is that we continue in his laws and covenant. This must be our preoccupation. When God regards us, every creature He made will regard us.

Laws are given by revelation or understanding. When a man has understood a thing, he has been commanded. Revelation is first for a man to obey, not to preach (1 Tim‬ ‭4:16‬).

Many times we are more particular about saving others, but we cannot administer a salvation we have not first received. We should first use the revelation to kill ourselves. The sword of the word of God should first be directed to us, then we can use it on others. The reason for the doctrine is to save. As a man is changing, he is ascending, then he can help others to come up. What makes our word weighty is because that word has become part of us and has been internalised via obedience. God is more strict with ministers so that their words can make more impact.

We should fast to the words of the Lord. Satan wants to weary us and tempt us to let go of those words. We should hold fast to these words, God who promised us Eternal Life is faithful. If these words are not true and worthy, Satan won’t tempt us to drop them. The beings that we are wrestling with are real. We have to be wise when dealing with spirits, because they are lawless and intentional. Every thought that evil spirits bring to us contradict the law of inheritance.

We are not all on the same level of spiritual growth, and so we should consider one another’s frailty. We should not assume that the other person should be able to take certain things. When you stop your brother or sister from making progress in life, you won’t also make progress in life. We should seek peace and ensure it. Many times, we must take the fall or take the blame in order to ensure peace. We must accept to be wrong even when we are right. A contrite man is one that takes the blame, and the Lord is close to such (‭‭Isa‬ ‭57:15‬).

What is good is what is revealed. The thoughts that Satan brings to us are designed to contradict our walk towards the throne. We cannot ascend without obeying the revelations of God coming to us. We cannot grow spiritually or change without doing obedience. God is coming against age-long natures that we have accepted to be who we are; those are arrangements of spirits designed against our entrance into life. It is salvation that will break down every such arrangement but we have to cooperate with God.

“Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; and being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him” ‭‭(Heb ‭5:8-9)‬. Our Lord Jesus was made over a process of time. Obedience leads to being made perfect. When a man obeys what is being revealed to him, he is being made. It’s not easy to crack down those ancient natures in us because that is what we have been identified with and we often defend it.

Ministers grow in pastoring grace. There are some things that a minister of the gospel should not directly touch, because when you do, eruptions will rise from within. That is why sometimes, it is safe to just preach the word rather than directly correcting some people.

Revelations of Christ and God are meant to reveal unholy conversations and natures we have within us and we should immediately trust God for help to change. Jesus learnt the laws of perfection that are in the father. Judgements are for obedience. A man cannot partake of judgement until it is time to be raised into the Holiest of All.

Salvation cannot be wrought in us without obedience or agreement to be reshaped or remoulded. The grace for obedience is required in this season. The essential commodity of this season is obedience. What God is giving witness to are words of salvation that men and women should align with. Activities of angels will increase and it will continue when we are orderly in our conversations. Angels are driven away when we are disorderly in our conversations.

When God wanted to send an angel to help Moses and the children of Israel, He warned them to be careful. This is because the angel knows no mercy. So we should be more careful. A fruit of maturity is carefulness/caution. Signs of growth are wisdom, carefulness and caution. Every level we attain in God comes with an instruction that will sustain us there. It’s possible to disobey the laws of a level and that will cause one to begin to go down. There are laws that take us to greater levels in the spirit and there are laws that sustain us there. Every ascension in the spirit has to do with obedience.

The light and conversation of God are always with us and these instructions make the light livable. When a revelation is not livable, it has not really come to one’s understanding. The life of God is livable. Jesus said, “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven” (Matt. 6:10). There is a place for doing the will of God which is preceded by the revelation of the will; that is, an understanding of what is right, which brings us into the state God desires of us. To do the will of God on earth is to live the conversation of heaven on earth. This is what earth was created for.

Man’s right is dominion; dominion was the reason God created man (Gen. 1:26). The reason for salvation is to raise man back to the place of dominion. The natural man now seeks dominion. Evil spirits now give man a fake dominion that makes him subservient to them. Every suggestion Satan offers us is aimed at one thing – to reduce man further. Thus, when God gives us His things through His words that will make for our ascension, they have to be obeyed. God does not give us those laws because They hate us. Though the laws seem contradictory with our nature/arrangements, after some time of keeping them, we will begin to rejoice at His words as one who found great treasures. Those words are for our exaltation and ascension.

We must take the instructions for ascension seriously; they are for our profiting. Our profiting is that we are changed and remoulded out of the wrong configuration that makes us susceptible or subject to spirits. The programme of salvation is to correct the anomaly in our souls, break down that former configuration and mould another. This will be done by words. We should not take these words lightly; they are precious and instrumental to our life, who we will become and our upward movement spiritually.

When God instructs you as a wife to submit to your husband, do not reason it as being brought into subjugation to another man. However, see it as ascension. Every conversation of God that comes through revelation is to raise us and cause us to ascend; this is because the Most High, who is high and lofty, is lowly. ‘High and lofty’ typifies meekness, humility, shamefacedness; not one who is lifted up. God dwells in a high and lofty place with them who are contrite in heart (Isa. 57:15)

Women should see God’s instruction to them to submit under their husbands as salvation, because doing so will make them lowly for the purpose of ascension. One who is becoming lowly is one who is ascending. Women should see themselves as privileged of God being called to submit under their husbands. Submission helps to crack down our heights in the flesh. There is usually intense warfare in the place of submission. A woman may have a very brilliant idea but in obedience to God’s word, gives it up;  she will appreciate in the spirit.

We ascend only by obedience. Some obedience may cause one tears; nonetheless, we must obey. We are only robbed of life when we refuse to obey. Jesus became the author of Eternal salvation to them that obey Him (Heb. 5:9). When we obey Jesus, we are obeying the laws that made Jesus who He is. The commandments Jesus gives us are the same commandments He received of His Father, which He obeyed and resulted into who He became. Likewise, anyone who will be saved eternally must obey Him who has been saved eternally.
