Ministering: Pastor Tosin Gabriel
The theme of this year’s convention is a New Testament emphasis. The reason for this theme is because the church of Jesus Christ has entered the season of sealing. In this period and season of sealing, the hidden wisdom of God will be pronounced. We cannot be sealed without the administration of the hidden wisdom of God.
The church must be ready for the administration of the hidden wisdom otherwise, she will be carried by another hidden wisdom, which is also set to seal men. Therefore, we have to take the things we are hearing in this season seriously for the security of our destiny.
Every commandment and instruction matters in this season. Our conversation in this season will determine our eternal path. We should ensure to not fight what we hear, even if we do not understand them. Rather, we should engage them with all seriousness just like we handle our academics in the natural. We must begin to attach higher value to the things of life, if we will go far with God.
“Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:” (1 Cor. 2:6). This world has its wisdom but there is a wisdom that is higher than it. We need to learn this higher wisdom to become perfect men. However, there is another wisdom known as ‘the hidden wisdom’. We will enter into the school of the wisdom of God after we have become perfect. The wisdom of God is not what raises men to become perfect, but the wisdom for those that are already perfect. The hidden wisdom is for our glory; it is the technology of God for our sealing. The reason why we need to enter Eden and be sealed is for our good and safety.
The wisdom of the princes of this world is higher than the wisdom of this world. A man who is worldly is using the wisdom of this world to live. But there is a higher wisdom than that the world has: it is the wisdom of princes. If this wisdom is unveiled, it can cause many to fall. We have come to a significant place of sealing and we must guard our ranking strongly. We must not break our ranks in the spirit but keep them. This is the sacred part of this work; and the Lord will be demanding from us the protocol of ranking and alignment. Every minister must know how to fight and keep their lot. None should go beyond their capacity. We must also be rid of ambition.
We are not the first church who have arrived at the season of Everlasting Life in the Spirit. The early church journeyed, got this far and even went beyond. However, they had the issue of breaking ranks. People began to chart their own courses.
“[2] And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, Saying, [3] Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads." (Rev. 7:1-3). Hurt is inevitable and it is coming to the earth. The angel who will also blow the trumpet has an Edenic nature. This angel is from the East. The angel coming with the seal is coming from the East just the way the Garden was placed eastward in Eden. This means this angel is an Edenic angel. He has the seal of the living God. There are two dimensions of God -- the Living God (Everlasting God) and the True God (Eternal God).
God does not have a beginning; He is endless and eternal. However, God had to become everlasting before He could manifest Himself for man to comprehend. The seal of the living God is the seal of Everlasting Life for Eternal Life. This sealing is for servants of God. One who is not a servant of God cannot be sealed with the seal. Servants of God are not preachers; one can be a preacher but may not be a servant of God. Many preachers are servants of their bellies because they mind and preach only earthly things (Phil. 3:19).
John was taught about the Book when he had become a servant. He was already a servant before God could give him this Book. The book of Revelation is an Edenic book and many have been wrongly interpreting it.
"How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him." (Heb. 2:3). What we are to escape is the second death (Rev. 2:11). A man has not really heard Jesus if he has not heard the Everlasting Gospel. There is a lot of escaping to do in the time of the Everlasting Gospel. The Everlasting Gospel is that which will seal us against the second death.
The New Birth does not to give you license to live for yourself. You were bought with a price and you are no longer your own. Redemption means buying you back so that you can be owned and kept. We were bought from the reign of sin and were given another law which is the doctrine of Christ. The doctrine of Christ is the doctrine for every believer.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Rom. 10:9). The seal is for a servant of God; and one cannot become an eligible servant of God without fully obeying the doctrine of Christ. The end of the commandment of Christ is Charity. Charity is the border of becoming a servant of God. Advancing in Charity means loving the brethren fervently. This is what qualifies us to become servants of God.
In Zion, our business is feeding. Therefore, we must learn to feed. When you feed in Zion, you will arrive at Charity until you are called up to the mountain. There is Zion and there is mount Zion; we climb from Zion to mount Zion.
The first way to deal with sin is to have Charity. We can never be holy without Charity. A holy man is a Charity man. If material things make you angry at your brethren all the time, then you are not holy. It means there is value for corruption more than the incorruptible. Sealing is not for lone rangers. You must be in the fold to know what is inside you. You need church life and you need to live among brethren. You should not keep yourself from being known by your brethren; your limitations and nakedness must be seen. Then, you can see the need to be clothed.
We must come to a place where we abound in Charity and are fervent in it. The scriptures tell us of a time when iniquity will abound and the love of many will wax cold (Matt. 24:12). However, we must be skilful and deliberate in Charity.
“And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.” (Rev. 14:1). The seal of the living God is the Father’s name - which is everlasting. This Father’s name is the Divine Nature. It is the incorruptible life.
"For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren, Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee." (Heb. 2:11-12). The seal of the living God is the declaration of the Father’s name. This name is the commandment of Everlasting Life. As you have served Christ unto fervent charity, you will begin to serve Everlasting Life. It is dangerous to start serving it and then drop it. We must serve it from the beginning to the end. Jesus started it and finished it. He also wants to teach us how to do it.
