Believers' Convention 2021 (Day 6 Morning Session) - Speaker 1

Date: Friday, 13th August 2021

Ministering: Bishop David Adeleke.

After God formed man from the dust of the earth (Gen. 2:7), He discovered that man was not complete; He breathed into his nostril and he became a living soul (Gen. 2:7). The essential thing done to the man was the breath. God placed man in the garden of Eden which was a place of provision; all Adam's need was there. He also discovered that the man needed a help meet and He made Eve (Gen. 2:18).

Adam was not farming or ploughing in Eden; according to the Word of God, he was just tending the Garden (Gen. 2:15). Eden was so beautiful that even sickness was not an occurrence there; snakes and scorpions were not causing harm. Adam had dominion over all things on earth; hence, everything obeyed him.

God saw all that He had made and saw it was good. Eden is where the supernatural comes down for the terrestrial to fellowship. It is a place of spiritual transaction where God's glory comes down to cover their nakedness. That was why Adam and Eve did not know they were naked.

The host of heaven accompanied God to visit Adam whenever He came to visit in the cool of the day. Satan was envious of this attention that God was giving to man; God's intention was to raise Adam into the full stature of His image and likeness (Gen. 1:26).

Adam did not have any excuse for failure. By reason of the environment God placed Adam, he had no reason to fail but he disobeyed. Adam was capable of making choices but he made the wrong choice (Gen. 3: 6-7). Satan had been cast out and he was looking for brethren to attain his lustful desire. People that have fallen from grace always want to look for more people. We must be careful with men that have fallen from grace; so we’re not deceived and fall out of the will of God.

Adam had no excuse. Lucifer plotted for the fall of Adam to bring him down to his level of sin, corruption, and death; with the intent of having his kingdom and taking rulership over the earth. In carrying out his assignment, he planted his tree in the Garden. In the Garden, there were many trees and they were goodbut there was this different one which was the tree of the knowledge of good and evilwhich Adam was instructed not to eat.

God matures people precept upon precept. God watches people to see how they’ve prospered with His provision in one level before He grants them access to the next level. God would not commit more to he who has not been faithful in little (Luke 16:10). Satan crafted the plan to pull Adam down by enticing him to disobey God; the plot of Satan comes in subtlety. He wins his game by the information he sells to the soul.

We must be careful of those who do not want to associate with the brethren. When Adam and Eve ate the fruit, their shortcomings were promoted. Adam earlier used leaves to cover himself but God came and brought them a measure of deliverance. Deliverance came as a provision of the coat of skin used to replace the leaves earlier used as clothing (Gen. 3:21).

God has a plan for man to eat the tree of life but man needed to journey for him to have access to it. In Genesis 2:16-17, God instructed them not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, or else they would die. There is a measure of fear that is needed to obey commandmentsand Adam and Eve lacked that fear of God.

God would not expose man to a dealing that is higher than him. If man was careful and obedient enough, he would not have fallen for the wiles of Satan. We must be afraid of the One who has called us and sent us. We must be careful not to just receive any ministration; we must test all spirits (1 Jn. 4:1). Jesus conquered Satan by revelation and the victory of Christ gave us victory.

God would uphold the ministers because when they fall, others attached to them are likely to fall also. Life should be the force flowing through us and this cannot be possible if we’re not raised by the doctrine of Christ.

"For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him." (2 Cor. 11:4We must beware of another gospel. The Gospel of Everlasting Life is deep and is enough to give us all the fulfillment we need. Another gospel is present with us and it is not scarce; if Satan in Eden could bring another gospel, how much more now. Death is everywhere; it is very easy to contact.

There are too many wrong gospelsheresy and confusion are all over the place. We must take extra diligence to validate what we are hearing, Everlasting Life is the key that can deliver Eternal Life to us.

We are fortunate to be born in this season to encounter grace and the message of Everlasting Life. God is Immortal and Incorruptible. God was wise to have sent Adam out of Eden such that he couldn’t partake of the Tree of Life after falling. Evil would have prevailed much more.

"And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads." (Rev. 7:2-3)There is a seal available for the servants of God so that we do not lose out on Eternal Life. We are here to attain the realm that Adam lost and Jesus recovered back for us.

Closing Charge by Reverend Kayode Oyegoke

We’re to stick with this gospel we’re hearing and not get carried away by many others. The book of Genesis to Revelation is one gospel that is typified by the life of Christ. Many people might be thinking this is strange, but it is not; this is Eden. We are surrounded by them. We must lay aside every weight so that we can run the racebecause there are many who are watching.
