Understanding the Pathway to the Grace of Salvation (APM)

There is a battle for man to hold the mind of God because it is an inheritance. Therefore, we must be spiritually minded (Rom. 8:6). The vision of the Father is that men would be divinely minded. When a thing is a thing of the mind, it has become a manifestation. When a man is spiritually minded, he is a calibrator of life and peace. Satan cannot access that mind with carnality. God is determined to make our minds divine.

The things of glory ought to be in the mind of men so that they would be able to process and own glory. Such minds would be glory-tempered or galvanised with the glory of God. This is not signified by the presence of a halo over their heads, but rather by their ability to resolve matters of glory. The thoughts of such a people are not impotent to the ascent of glory; their minds can gloriously fountain the life of the Father. This is because the glory-mind is the mind of the Father.

“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him…” (Eph 1:17). God is the Father of Glory and He knows how to birth glorious children, who would begin to operate gloriously. It is the jurisdiction of the Father that opens people up to Christ, therefore, we need to beseech Him. When people’s eyes are opened (enlightened), they are pointed towards glory. God’s desire is to build us all into glory, till we become buildings of glory.

To become a building of glory means one's soul capacity will be developed to house God. He that is being built should not make haste (Isa. 28:16). This is because haste is the program of the adversary for flesh. A hasty person is one who is in disobedience because he is contradicting the plan of God for living. The desire of God for man is that he grows, even through the process of building. We cannot arrest haste by the New Birth because the program of haste is the timing of death.

Unrest is caused by haste and flesh is responsible for making men hasty. The conviction of such a soul is vanity. A soul that cannot wait on God will soon depart from the path of God. Therefore, we should not be in haste. Pressure and time can cause one to hasten into marriage. Haste is not in the books of men but in the book of flesh; this book is not the book of life.  Flesh is hasty; those who are in this state do not obey the law of God but rather cause trouble in the midst of the saints. Flesh does not define calling as a duty to God; it sees it as an opportunity to do what others are doing.

When we are in glory we would not be associated with ugliness. Worldliness is ugliness. Jesus attained a glorious stature; He received glory when the voice of glory came (2 Pet. 1:17). When God is giving sonship, He is giving us glory. Jesus did not become the fullness of God in one day; glory was measured into Him over time. If Jesus was not full of grace, He would not have been able to taste death for every man (Heb. 2:9). God wants to make us have glory. We would however not be full of glory until we are crowned with it. Therefore, before glory can become ours, we must have it in all its measures.

“Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ…” (Eph. 4:13). A perfect man is one who can handle fullness. The knowledge of the Son of God is the love of Christ that passes knowledge. It is a knowledge that is more than just knowledge and it attracts fullness to us. A person can know something but not have the results of the knowledge.

There is a grace that comes as a result of knowledge. However, it is possible for a person to trap knowledge and not have the commensurate experience. As such, having knowledge does not translate to fullness. We must have the grace for everlasting life before we can practise it. Character and nature are storages of grace. Jesus did not only have knowledge, He also had formation. Paul, on the other hand, had knowledge but a messenger of Satan was sent to buffet him so that he would not be exalted above measure (2 Cor. 12:7). This was because he lacked in some measure. God therefore allowed Him to be pressed so that he would measure up in capacity.

Apart from knowledge, there is also the way that we ought to learn; this way is key to partaking of the Kingdom. We cannot eat the tree of life without learning its way. This way is a stored grace for eating of the tree. The reason for Paul’s sufferings was so that He could find entrance into the way. God did this so that He could turn Paul’s water (knowledge) into wine (strength or experience). This is because knowledge is not an end in itself but a means to an end.

When we are being caught up to God, we are being called or are obeying the call. There are realms where our strength will expire except we are given a lift; this was the reason for Paul’s buffeting. Paul needed to come into a measure that was commensurate with the knowledge he had. Satan brought buffetings to Paul because he carried materials that were detrimental to the dominion of darkness, but God rather used them to raise Paul. Many times, we tend to exalt our measure because of the knowledge we have, but lowliness and meekness help put us in check.  Meekness is a sign that we have divine nature.

“And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; [6] And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; [7] And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.” (2 Pet. 1:5-7). The development of divine nature does not solely depend on brotherly kindness, knowledge, faith, and so on. This is because it is not enough to have only fruits, God also wants us to have meekness. We ought to develop the character of the word because the reason for the word is to have nature. Nature helps us discern God’s word appropriately. A person who has nature would also have fruits.

One who is standing in the office of an Apostle will have fruits of the Spirit; this is not the same as the gifts of the spirit. There is a weight that accompanies the office of an Apostle. As such, a true Apostle will not seek to arrogate the position to himself. Instead, his works will speak for him. Some men love to be called apostles but they are unable to stand when apostolic tests come.

A man should not exalt himself according to the revelation knowledge he has. Rather, he should understand his measure, which is his grace capacity. This grace is what manifests as life. When God gives graces to men, he is giving them building blocks. When God puts these graces on people, He takes them through some dimensions or paths. This was the path that came to Paul through the buffeting of the messenger of Satan.

“For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. [9] And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” (2 Cor. ‭12‬:‭8‬-‭9‬). God was pushing Paul into the grace of life. He did not know the formula of being made perfect in weakness but God wanted him to be weak for certain fruits to show forth. One cannot find the path to the knowledge of God without the leading of the Spirit. Many people have knowledge but lack the way in their souls. This is why their knowledge cannot affect those around them nor can it produce fruit.

Fruit is the evidence of the life that a man is carrying. One may be teaching revelation knowledge without its way because it is possible to have knowledge without the way. This way cannot be learnt from the Bible. It can only be learnt by staying with someone who has it so that it can rub off on us. Little children do not read the knowledge of their parents but they study their ways (Prov. 22:6). When a man is in the way, angels get to work and the presence of God is brought down. It is a way that leads to life. This is why we should not offend the way because adapting to and doing the way is obedience.

There is a grace that knowledge brings; it provides some strength in a measure, but it is not enough. Knowledge helps us encounter the manner of grace it brings. This grace needs to be installed for it to be found, just like an operating system in a computer device. When grace is present, strength is present. However, one may have knowledge but not have perfect strength. To attain perfect strength, one needs to know the "way is weakness". Weakness is a Spirit teaching; it is the way to make strength perfect.

‭‭And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” (2 Cor. ‭12‬:‭9). To glory here is to rejoice because this is a realm where we should not look down on ourselves or cast aspersions on our infirmities. The power of Christ referred to above is an access or enablement; it is a reality of the move of grace. However, the grace of Christ has not been able to rest on many of us because of our ways and thoughts.

“The meek will God guide in judgement: and the meek will he teach his way” (Psa. 25:9). Judgement is a resolve to see the way but not touch or hinder it. Many people hinder their ways and by so doing, they stop their spirit. We are taught His way in the spirit and not just by reading the Bible. This is because it is possible to be reading the Bible and yet, be outside the Kingdom. The Kingdom is a person; it is in the Holy Ghost. God cannot allow corruption back into the Kingdom, therefore, the Holy Ghost will barricade a man from entering the Kingdom except the works of the devil are out of him. Our enemies in the kingdom of darkness are spirits. They are not knowledge beings; they are ways.

God can only be known through a way. When we shut down the way, we will allow death. The way is learned in the wilderness and this wilderness is in the Holy Spirit because He is a Master in designing the wilderness experience in a man, with the aim of shutting down the thoughts of fallen spirits. A hasty man is one who is obeying his fallen nature and is reluctant to drop it. So when the Lord comes to confront him in his way, he will keep or defend it because way is life.

We need to be guided into judgement. Meekness is the means to getting the nature of God. The meek is he who is walking in love. The purpose of all the fruit of the spirit is to produce a meek man. God will gravitate towards anyone who finds this posture in order to teach him. A meek man is he who can respond to God at all levels. A man who is not meek can be religious and may never be able to respond to God. Men find it hard to drop traditions because they are not yet meek. Some people claim to be meek but they really are not. Knowledge is killing many people already because they are not meek. A man who knows God will not be exalted above measure. Such a man ought to be meek all through.

“I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.” (2 Cor. 12:10). The person whom Paul saw was John because he was the one who was caught up to paradise. He heard seven thunders but he was commanded not to write about them (Rev. 10:4). No one in the scripture was caught up to heaven like John. When the spirit of the apostolic office comes and it is carefully followed, whatever it says is bound to stay. If it is not completely accurate, it would be near accurate. This is because the apostolic spirit processes several pieces of information from different realms.

Blessings!
