A lamb without spot or wrinkle is a glorious church. A church that has been caught up to glory has experienced the transaction of the Spirit of glory. So the blessings for making it holy and without blemish are beyond knowledge. Although blessings have been taught as knowledge/precepts, it is much more than that. Blessings are spirit!

To turn men to righteousness is to deliver them. The days of thy power are the days of the rod of His strength. The day of the rod of His strength is the day of the expression of His power wherein the people shall be willing (Psa. 110:3). The rod of His strength are those who will rule in the midst of His enemies; it is those who have been raised by Him that will put the devil down.

Adam was set over the works of God’s hands, but for Jesus, God put everything under His feet not His hands. The way God subjects things under someone is to put them under His feet. The things are not beside Jesus, but under Him. It was not clearly seen that all things were under Adam’s feet but we see now that God has raised Jesus, the Lord of glory, overseer of all things and upholding all things by the word of His power.

Salvation has its righteousness just as faith has its righteousness. The substance of faith is the righteousness of God revealed. Righteousness is a substance; it is a standard. When a man lives by the righteousness of faith, such a man would abide (1 Cor. 13:13). It is good to abide but one can still be removed (Gal. 1:6). The grace of Christ is the gospel of Christ. The reason for the Lord’s coming to us (the great appearance that has been promised to us) in this season is for us to be moved from not just abiding, but to a place where we can abide forever.

The Lord would be coming to us at intervals until there is an abiding place for Him. The concept of prayer as we know it today was given later for the purpose of bringing God back. One essence of prayer is to bring God into a matter and to commune with Him. When we commune with God, we bring God’s attention into a matter. Prayer is really fellowship, it is communion; it is to build intimacy with God. However, prayer is currently no longer used for the purpose of bringing God back, rather, it is being used to meet our natural needs.

We need to be sober and be vigilant because sobriety is needed to tell when the devil is around. We need soberness to know when either the Lord or the adversary is coming. The adversary wants to eat up the life we have in our souls. Soberness will tell us what not to watch or read so as to keep the atmosphere over us.

Silver and gold refer to wisdom and understanding (Pro 4:7), that is, the wisdom and understanding that it would take to build God's house are His own. Revelation is understanding. When Peter got that revelation (Matt 16:16,18) He got understanding. Jesus said, 'upon this rock I would build my church'; the rock is wisdom and understanding in the knowledge of Him. Wisdom and understanding is the rock that would be used to build the house of God.

We need a lot of hope as this Gospel is being painted to us. If there is not enough hope in our system we would get weary. A time came when God's people started asking, ‘where is the Hope of His coming?’. We would not just keep surviving in hope but we would get to a point where Hope would increase, because the God of Peace is involved and hope will multiply.

Living hope is a hope that can only be appreciated by reason of the words of everlasting life. In the word of everlasting life is the hope of Eternal Life. It is in everlasting life that we can appreciate being made eternal. The hope in Christ is everlasting life. Every Christ’s cry is to be made everlasting. We journey from hope to hope. To be made everlasting is to return to the Father; it is to go to the Father. How we know a Christ is that there is a desire for everlasting things.
