Silver and gold refer to wisdom and understanding (Pro 4:7), that is, the wisdom and understanding that it would take to build God's house are His own. Revelation is understanding. When Peter got that revelation (Matt 16:16,18) He got understanding. Jesus said, 'upon this rock I would build my church'; the rock is wisdom and understanding in the knowledge of Him. Wisdom and understanding is the rock that would be used to build the house of God.

The incorruptible seed is the seed that saves the soul (1 Peter 1:9). Without the incorruptible seed in the soul, we cannot be saved. The strength of God's salvation is the incorruptibility of salvation. This means salvation cannot be corrupted. Anyone born of the incorruptible seed has been born into salvation. In the realm of the heavens, there are angels who have the likelihood of salvation but not the texture of salvation which is a mystery that is hidden in God.

It will take the cross to deal with the formation in us that limits us from obeying this instruction. The cross comprises the wisdom and power of God – the two things that make us wise, weak and foolish. All the dealings we go through are meant to make us weaker and more foolish-looking because that is how we would be made strong and wise. It is the cross that makes us not to seek our own things, but rather, the things of others, and we ought to keep doing so until we become professionals at it.

The purpose of the learning of the faith of the Son of God and obeying commandments is so that a new man can rise in place of the fallen old man. It is this new man who would walk in the reality of bearing the image and likeness of God who created him.

God is the Father of spirits not because He created all spirits, but because anything He fathers becomes spirit. It was by fathering that God gave birth to Jesus. To be subject to the Father of Spirits is to be subject to training. It is only God who knows how to train a man to become a spirit. God has ways. If we reject the training of God, we will not cease from being flesh (Heb. 12:7).

So, when we are learning Christ, we are learning ways— ways of righteousness that makes a godly man. The teaching of everlasting righteousness, which is the ministration of the New Testament or the ministration of the spirit, is a ministration of way. Christ is a way that we are trained in for us to connect to an everlasting way.

When God is giving us spirit, He is giving us glory. One who can minister spirit at this level is one who has been built up to that pedigree. For one to have glory, one must have the capacity to carry it. One must be a spirit to keep the ministry of glory alive. To be a spirit is not to be bodiless, but to come to a place where you can carry spiritual responsibility. A person of glory is one who can answer to glorious things and can carry out God’s demands for glory. It is God who makes a person an able minister of the New Testament (2 Cor 3:6). God enables us by blessing us with spirit.

There can never be a fellowship without the word. The apostles had fellowship with the Father and the Son. When a man is having a breakthrough into the fellowship of the Father and the Son, he would come into the fullness of joy that is in the presence of God.

God is after us interfacing with Him unto salvation – unto glory. There are things that would not happen to us as a Church until God makes certain appearances. We cannot come into glory and salvation until God appears to us. And this does not mean a vision or physical appearance.
