The greatest thing that can happen to a man is for God to desire and swear that He would dwell in him. That is the real making. What can be compared to that? God wants a generation that He will swear to, “I will dwell in you”; this is not just corporate, it is personal. That is why we are gathered here.

The project of God is for man to receive His building. When Adam fell, he could not stay in rest anymore, because he did not have what it takes to stay there. One needs the capacity to take the engineering of faith that can rest. Labor is to obey the word. Obedience is to labor and do the word. When such a one does the word, such gets built up and then gets the capacity to enter into His rest.

When Jesus was on earth, there was a body prepared for him to feed on. If that body has been prepared, you can be sure it was living, as the Father who is the God of the living cannot prepare something which is dead. The way you transfer or serve the body that has been prepared is packaged in the doing of the will of the Father. When God gives an understanding of His will, part of the body has been given to one to eat. The way to eat is to hear, understand and take steps to do.

God is interested in raising and building us. He wants to raise a formidable people and build us the same way He built Jesus against hell and death. Jesus is a work that was done, for God built Him in a way that death could no longer have dominion over Him. God built a man that beat death and all the arsenals of Satan. That is the kind of work God wants to do in us; He wants to raise men and women who will beat death. To beat death, one must be able to walk against the laws of death.

. When you got born again, the spirit was raised from the dead but the soul is still a goat. The process of converting the soul is the process of healing the soul. The conversion process of the soul is via seasons. It takes a long time and that is why pastors are needed. It is not easy for your soul to be restored if you are alone. The soul needs power to be tamed. It is good to be associated in an assembly where the soul is being constantly fed.

Rest is a project of God and a project is something that has not happened. Rest is a project that has not happened even though God has desired and purposed it. We may do a lot of projects; personal projects, spiritual projects, ministry projects, career projects, family projects but leave God’s project untouched such that His house is not built but left desolate.

Satan attacks believers because he does not want us to feed on pastures that God has provided. This is because he is aware that our victory and deliverance out of his hand is only possible in our feeding. It is by feeding that we break away from habits and natures that hold us down.

We see in the scripture above that the Son wants to form the world He inherited in our souls by speaking to us. Although we start this journey by faith, it is expected that we grow in faith training. Faith will open us to understanding. If the Son of God frames His world in us by His speakings, then it is clear that evil spirits also frame their worlds in like manner. This means worlds are framed through the wisdom communicated via speakings.

We are raised by taking heed to the Word of Christ. We must obey the doctrine of Christ so that when things of God are spoken—things of inheritance, things of salvation, things that would build us a tabernacle for God—we would not count it as foolish.
