Satan wrecked man from living soul to flesh and then to dust that he can trample upon. But to recover man, another Person had to come. The first person who came for that purpose is the Holy Ghost and His coming was an advent. An advent is the arrival of a Special Person upon the earth.

It is in this day of the Lord that many people would be offended. And what would cause offense are the things in men that the Lord has come to judge. The Son of God has come to expire things in us that we have allegiance to. We must not be offended.

(Gal. 1:15-16). When the Son of God appears, one of the things He is going to do is to deal with the flesh and blood that Satan has worked in us and bring another flesh and blood, which is His own flesh and His own blood. When He does this, keeping peace will become normal to you, and walking in love will no longer be something that someone needs to preach and excite you into doing. They will become normal responses for you.

2 Corinthians 6:16). God wants to be our God and we, His people. It is at this point that He would have saved us. When God has established His throne in a soul, it means Jesus is seated in that person.

If a man is not doing what he knows, his conversation (manner of life) can be too low compared to the height of knowledge he has received. We should match the things we are hearing with the conversations we have. Change has come to a man who has conversations, having heard and obeyed what he has heard (James 1:22).

The Lord Jesus is the first Sheep of the Father. The Father led Him, spoke to Him and instructed Him to the cross and He kept on obeying. The Father said anyone who wants to be like Him should obey Him. Therefore, we must be led. We would expect a lot of subjective leading. The leading of the spirit is for salvation. It is not just to know what to do when there is a decision to make.

The Holy Ghost wants to train us to hear His voice. For this to happen, we must know the voice of the scripture so well. The scripture has a way it sounds; it has its own voice. Nobody should hear the voice of the Lord if the Holy Ghost has not trained him well (Heb 3:7-8).

There are also conversations where we ought to decrease so that the Lord will increase (John 3:30). The conversations where God increases are the ones He sees in secret; they are the conversations filled with virtue and bring praise to Him (Phil. 4:8).

The word of salvation that we are hearing is coming from the throne of God – one that God and the Lamb is seated on. This is why we should hold fast to this word and trust in the Lord with all our hearts; we should not doubt salvation. We should have a martyrdom attitude. We must be above things. We should not let morsels of bread contend with this "so great salvation".
